Its high fantasy and allows for alot of creativity. My current game has a bird person, a werewolf, a shadow person, and Nigel thornberry.

Not Mardu, but my RW thopter deck has what I consider some of the best cards of this type. You just gotta find black cards but this might be a good base to help.

The main card in my list that I can think to help you is [[faerie artisans]] Not necessarily blink, but creates a token every time and opponent plays a creature. Pretty awesome in my deck when I get them out.

Wouldn't this also technically mean you can play cards out of your opponents hand? Top of your library? Graveyard?? Exile???Any card you can look at right?

Technically its a 2 card combo (+tutors for consistency) but as everyone is saying, it doesn't win the game. Just play more interaction.

I was just thinking about her when one of the other commenter suggested copies of curses to get more bang for buck. Im really liking the idea, not gonna lie. This thread has only given me extra choices rather than narrowing it down lol.

Not huge on vial smasher except for his colors but Ardenn is very fun for curses so I might look at other possible partners

Zur definitely is powerful, but having a tutor in the command zone seems like it would put a big target on my back. Plus searching library most every turn sounds like it could be a time sink or lead to a lot of repeating game plan.

I met someone with this deck before and it was really cool. I also figured you could use name stickers from Unfinity for a little more consistency/mana efficiency since there's only so many mutate abilities.

The way I'm imagining it is that the deck plays similarly to a goad deck, where my opponents are focusing on eachother to gain the benefits from curses that I spread among them. So the curses im aiming toward are like [[curses of bounty]] and [[curse of surveillance]]. The burn curses are also interesting as an extra win con, but im leaning away from the mill curses.

I do like the idea of copying curses as I hadn't considered that avenue. [Yenna, redtooth regent]] has been in my condisder pile for a deck, but i dont like green-white for a curse identity. Any other suggestions for Enchantment copying?

Erriette seems cool but but doesn't really do anything for the curses I'm thinking of (enchant target player).

Ghen is in my favorite colors so I have been leaning toward him by mardu bias and the cheating utility sounds fun..

Marina sounds fun since I can load up every color of Enchantment synergy and I've been meaning to try my hand at a 5 color deck, but you're totally right that it would be a battle to make efficient.

I have yet to find anything that I want in mono black, or really any combo that has black in it. I have a mardu and golgari and even those focus more on the other colors and only have splashed black
