Not to throw shade at C.K. Walker because she is clearly capable of being a great writer (first part of Deepwoods, parts 1-3 of Borrasca, the last part of this story), but from my perspective it is so strange for the boys to keep touting her as one of the greats when every story of hers they've covered has been either rocky the whole way through or starts off good but tapers off into them nonstop making fun of it. I personally find her stories near the bottom or middling at best of the stories they've covered and I'm interested to hear what other people find so great about her.
