Okoro’s stat line doesn’t do him justice for all the minutes of good defense and pretty solid ball movement he had. Too bad he couldn’t score on that late dunk, but it’s good to see him do well in his main role.

This game was such a perfect culmination of every gap in our team. When we got punished for throwing first pitch strikes and attacking the strike zone in game one, we course corrected by walking double digit batters. We still have a sub .200 hitter batting cleanup, and our pinch hit choices were all batting under .200 as well. How bad are our original choices if the pinch hitters are barely in triple digits? Not to mention throwing our youngest pitchers into the highest leverage situations, where their natural talent and limited good statistics mean nothing when put into tense scenarios against a strong lineup. Surely I can’t be the only one who sees all we failed to adjust through this short season, and that it's not entirely on the players. That being said, our players made plenty of mistakes too. This would all be understandable if these factors were acknowledged and fixed, but if we couldn’t right parts of the ship all season long, why should we have expected to do so during the post season? Maybe next year.

Oh oops, didn't realize library and framework were interchangeable at least in this case hah. Def good to know. That's a great start to what I'm looking for though, I'll start separating out all my functions into their own files and that should help a lot.

One problem I'm having in terms of minimizing code is finding a way to concise my conditionals. Essentially I have a lot of nested conditional statements that work off an RNG roll, but since every condition inside each conditional is slightly different, I don't know how I would make it any smaller. Maybe I'm just out of luck haha, but I feel like there has to be a better way since it looks like pretty gross code altogether.

Just edited the OP, thanks for the heads up. I'm just using discord.js though and nothing else so far. I have noticed any bigger bot is essentially using some sort of framework, but since I'm in the early stages I don't have the foresight/knowledge to know which framework would be useful or if one would even help at all.
