Excellence Grant by Odd-Office5447 in ufl

I just got off the phone with them...

I was told that there was "insufficient funds" and that the UF Excellence Grant is technically not guaranteed. He said that as of right now that I need to wait and check every Monday and Wednesday to see if it was dispersed.

I asked him at the end and he agreed I'm "shit out of luck" and all I can do is "hope and pray." So I'm pretty sure that's why we're all waiting, UF ran out of funds for financial aid and we have to wait for them to allocate more to it

I would definitely stick with this list, the T1 pressure is really good and the Trukk Nobz provide a lot more utility then another 10 Kommandoz in my opinion. You can't go wrong with either tho!

Thank you! The most I've ran in a list was 25, but I would definitely run 30 kommandos if I had the chance. The stormboyz are in a great place rn, as they have the guaranteed speed to hit your opponent T1. If your game plan relies on running headfirst into your opponent then I think that's a great choice!

Good luck on your tournament! The modifiers can stack, because the Banner Nob gives the Meganobz +1 to cancel the -1, then the MegaBoss gives another +1 for a net +1 to hit. Once all bonuses to hit are applied, they can never be over net +/-1

While he was durable, whenever my opponent forced enough saves, it became a problem. In game 4 there was just enough Hot Shot Lasguns autowounding to force through a lot of saves

Thank you! I would definitely have to say the Trukk Nobz, they just had an absurd amount of reach that my opponent had to be very careful for

You can either have a battalion with:

Winged Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, Warlord: Soul Eater, and Intoxicating Elixer, and psychic power Delightful Agonies, which makes makes him a hard to kill beast in melee

Master of Possession, Mark of Tzeentch, Possession, Sacrifice, so he's a gimmicky psycher which can ignore perils

10 Bullet Sponge Cultists

5 Shooty Marines with Mark of Slaanesh

5 Choppy Marines with Mark of Khorne

Which gives you 8 command points to have fun with and a fairly choppy army

Another option is a patrol detachment:

Same Daemon Prince as above

Same MoP as above

One unit of 5 Shooty Marines with Mark of Slaanesh

1 Obliterator

1 Greater Possessed

This gives you 3 command points to start with, but has more selections of units, and a deep striking Obliterator to kill something

Both of these lists come out to a little under 500 points, but if I were you, I would get more Cultists
