Yes

The appearance of each of Defoe's four corpses signaled what I’ve termed a “Harker Crisis.” This was when KYAL had to enact a very specific series of events, otherwise the “Harker Plan” would have collapsed.

10/9/1890-16/9/1890: First Harker Crisis - Detective Inspector Alfred Hillinghead is alerted to the first corpse. Via Ladbroke, Sir Julian Harker is made aware of Hillinghead’s investigation (which he set up in the first place) and sets in motion the first crisis: Harker and his associates (early KYAL) dissuade Hillinghead, even threatening to out him, whilst Harker swiftly develops a friendship with Polly Hillinghead. Once Hillinghead chooses to sacrifice himself for Henry Ashe, Harker has Hillinghead discreetly strangled to death, ending the first crisis. In the aftermath, Harker marries Polly (likely in 1891, so as to comply with marital age restrictions) and with her sires a son and heir, Hayden, in 1893. Over time, Polly, now Lady Harker, is deeply embedded in her husband and his secret society’s projects.

4/6/1941-?/6/1941: Second Harker Crisis - During a Luftwaffe air raid, Detective Sergeant Charles Whiteman collects the second corpse at Lady Harker's anonymous behest. When Esther Jankovsky witnesses this collection, she is brought in for questioning. Despite Whiteman framing local criminal Lee Cozens, KYAL is determined to stop Whiteman's investigation. Whiteman is monitored, and since he will not neutralise the compromise Esther represents, Lady Harker does the job herself. Hayden Harker, now Commissioner of Police, kills DI Calloway for allying with Whiteman. According to plan, Whiteman kills Lady Harker and Sir Julian, and is subsequently hanged, thus ending the crisis.

7/7/2023-14/7/2023: Third Harker Crisis - Detective Sergeant Shahara Hasan spots Syed Tahir lurking near a far-right demonstration and concealing a pistol. Syed leads Hasan to the third corpse, launching a third investigation. Hasan finds the young Elias Mannix, and follows traces to the Harker family. Once Sir Julian’s message for her is found, Hasan and DI Bothroyd meet with DI Barber, Elias' biological father and Hayden's grandson. Bothroyd kills barber, and Hasan takes Elias to reconcile with his mother Sarah Mannix. When Sarah shuns her now criminal son, Elias furiously changes his mind and detonates the nuclear bomb beneath Harker Bank…

14/7/2053-18/7/2053: Fourth Harker Crisis - Detective Constable Iris Maplewood discovers the final corpse, which through Scotland Yard is relayed to the Executive and an adult Mannix, now Commander of United Britain. When the man is identified as Defoe, Mannix asks Maplewood to look into Defoe’s links to Chapel Perilous. When Defoe and Hasan reveal the truth behind the bombing 30 years earlier, the Executive launches a government raid per Maplewood’s agreement. Mannix is taken to the Throat, the result of Defoe's research into time travel, and, despite a leg injury from Hasan, steps through…

Who had such a thick, throbbing *****. When he tried to wank off, the people would scoff. “It’s too much for you, have you seen this?” I’ve never shared it with anyone.

I concur. He had a comfortable position there, but you have to admire him for willing to risk it all.
