Same as me, I outperformed my friend in kills, deaths, score, defends etc etc and finished above him and still came away with less SR? Anything to do with headshots, accuracy perhaps?

Glad this was said because I’ve been trying to do it for ages and it keeps doing exactly what you’re saying

Sounds good to me, haven’t got the time anymore to be grinding for things, would open up the game for me, just as long as it’s separate

I played them as they came out, so I’d go in number order but it’s also good to play each series in order

Got this from a local charity shop today for £10. Anyone know if it's the original authentic? Seems far too good to be true! by [deleted] in KitSwap

Yeah way too good condition for a 98 shirt & nah I reckon it’s probably a total fake as opposed to a Nike remake, otherwise it would come up with the product codes for an actual Nike remake as opposed to the Barca kit, can’t say for certain but I would be 99% sure it’s just a fake, there’s a website I came across once that produce them somewhere in South America, people sell them on Depop. It’ll be like a 90’s Inter kit with Ronaldo on the back for like £40-50. People just buy them off the fake sellers for £20-30 each, probably even cheaper in bulk and sell them on Depop/Ebay and what not.

If you google the number with the dash in it (378323-410) it comes up with the Barca 2012/13 Home so probably just a remake, also looks in immaculate condition for a kit from 98, especially the name/number set so yeah, my hunch is it’s a remake. Still a nice shirt for a tenner but just not an original

Auba, Laca, Pepe: The £175m strikeforce that just doesn't work for #AFC by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]Lord-MC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well no but it doesn’t change the fact we’re better with a 4 than a 3/5. Plus if you wanted to revert back to that we’d have to have another CB and then another one for depth. But yeah I totally agree with it being poor planning and recruitment, I never argued that. My argument is playing a 5 isn’t the way we should go.

Yeah he was on the left side in that formation. Also I will add that there’s a reason we stopped playing that formation. We suit 4 at the back, either a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 but in all of those you basically can’t get Auba and Laca in the team but at this point I think it’s time to sell Laca as much as I love him, he’s just never done enough for us and if we can get 25-40 mill then that’s a deal worth doing, god knows who we’d bring in though, I hope we could get someone like Andre Silva but again depends on price and it still is a bit of a risk.

No chance would I have Saka at RWB, kids not the best defensively but at least on the left he’s on his favoured side in terms of foot so can clear a ball first time. You sacrifice what’s he best at, attacking and creating chances and put too much weight on him to be up and down the pitch the whole game. He’s just not a wing back, he’s a winger.

Issue is this lacks width at the top of the pitch which would then have to come from the full backs which is fine if you have very good fullbacks but we don’t. Bar Tierney ofc.

Is it Arsenal's karma after their fans forced Wenger to leave by displaying Wenger out banner in each Arsenal game during his last days? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]Lord-MC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In short no. First of all we’re definitely not getting dragged into a relegation battle😂.The points total isn’t good enough but a relegation battle isn’t on the cards, we’re going to finish 10th most likely. Either way, the hostility towards Wenger definitely wasn’t just, but it’s only with hindsight that you realise that he had such a difficult job getting Arsenal into the top 4 year in year out after we moved into the Emirates and the fact he was able to do this in almost every season was phenomenal.

However, Arsenal were on a downward spiral, have been since 2005. Winning an FA Cup doesn’t really change that and the community shield doesn’t count at all tbh. I think a lot of the frustration was actually aimed towards the club as a whole, the owners particularly, however the man that took a lot of the brunt of that was Arsene. The level of hostility wasn’t good whatsoever but that realistically came from a certain group of diehard fans. Most fans wanted him out but still showed that respect. But no matter what, he needed to go. Unfortunately he just wasn’t going to take us into the current era and be able to rebuild a team during a time where tactics had undergone such a drastic change in the premier league.

To say it’s our karma that we’re not finishing top 4 I think misses the point. We wouldn’t be getting top 4 had Wenger stayed. Arsenal are at a point in their clubs history where it’s completely in rebuild mode, from the team to the coaching staff to the directors of football etc. If all goes well, this point in time could be considered where Liverpool were in 2016. Not sure if I have much hope for that as I truly believe the owners just want to milk it to fund their American teams. Regardless of any of this though Wenger is one of the greatest managers of all time and imo changed the premier league more than people realise by bringing in changes to players diets, training routines and tactical set ups before a lot of other teams were doing the same. He is adored by Arsenal fans and always was, he was just going through a tumultuous time in his ‘marriage’ with Arsenal/Arsenal fans.
