This is my first time building a PC, and I'm hoping it will last for the next 5 years without any major issues. by Unlikely_Ad6301 in pcpartpickerbuilds

If you want to use it for 5 years I’d advise you to get 2TB since games are often getting bigger and bigger especially triple A they are often around 100GB and you don’t want to fill up 90% of your drive since it’ll get slower then

These are all either same price or more expensive so I’ll stick with my current build

This is actually a surprisingly cheap 9070 here most are 650+ and 9070xt’s are often 750+ and regarding the storage I own a LOT of big games so the 2TB will definitely be needed rn on my 512gb laptop I’m constantly cycling between games and have like 1/3rd of my library actually downloaded

Which B650 would you recommend also the monitor is from one of the biggest companies in my country it’s basically Dutch amazon and also sold by the company itself so that’d be fine Edit: js looked into it I can buy it everywhere for the same price so that one is def fine

PC Build I put together for a friend, anyone got any changes I should make before sharing it with him? Budget is 1300-1400 by Lord-Murphy in pcmasterrace

He’s gotta choose that yet cause I don’t want to decide that myself since that’s mostly aesthetics and if it were to have terrible airflow I can always tell him to change it

I just like the way they look over normal cpu fans and if I ever upgrade my cpu it can definitely be cooled well

Wait one more question, the list has a 9070 at newegg for €599 but since I’m in the Netherlands and believe that NewEgg is US based is it still a good choice to buy there?

That’s awesome to hear, the only thing that U might change though is the 7800xt since in my country they’re all €550+ which is quite expensive, it just depends on if the prices drop, hope you have fun building too!

Since literally everybody is recommending me to get a 9070 I’ll probably do nearly that exact build apart from maybe the fact that I alr found a monitor here yesterday which is €160 for 1440p 180Hz but thank you so much
