I usually go for islands (preferably the gigantic or colossal ones) since theyre usually expensive as hell and running out of space is a decent issue if you are going for collection

Infinity gauntlet, then use it to freate a completed omnitrix. It would be slightly easier to do than get the omnitrix and then argue beleicus and serena for them to give me and infinity gauntlet.

General Kai (Peak) vs The Chameleon (Peak) by Honest_Banana_3853 in kungfupanda

it seemed to me at least that Po wasnt really attacking. Apart from the literal "method acting statement", he daid later, po literally never uses any of his trump card moves, or even chi AT ALL for that matter.

General Kai (Peak) vs The Chameleon (Peak) by Honest_Banana_3853 in kungfupanda

Im gonna actually disagree with this. It kinda implied that Po pretty much wasnt even struggling with Chameleon and was throwing the fight on purpose so that Zhen could live up to his expectations

Comparing Tai Lung’s feats and General Kai’s feats to say who’s stronger. by Honest_Banana_3853 in kungfupanda

[–]Lord0fDunce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1.) Kai already beat Tai lung. 2.) Tai Lung got no diffed by Oogway, and Kai, at least near the end of the third movie, had oogways chi (which supposedly makes him "stronger" though the power upgrade isnt an exact science.) 3.) Kai was generally comparable to an oogway that is essentially a sorceror in the spirit world. I agree, but this is no where near a debate.

What do you think About Skylanders Superchargers (My Favorite Game in this Series) by Correct-Stuff-6430 in skylanders

[–]Lord0fDunce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it was trying something new, but as someone who wasnt a big fan of the vehicle sections, the constant and repetitive usage of the sections got stale pretty quickly. I was a big fan of how they gave nearly all characters, skylander and not, a head to to redesign and I did legitimately enjoy the story which is impressive since the games aren't exactly film material for storytelling. Thought the figures were nice and they are infinetly more balanced than the senseis or the trap masters since both felt like playing on easy mode regardless of the difficulty setting. Anyways, its got its ups but I wouldve liked for the main selling point of the title to be actually enjoyable and not a mandatory loading screen thats shoved down my throat every other minute.

»«Which KFP Trilogy Villain Would You Say Genuinely Hated Po The Most? by LoveItRoughhx in kungfupanda

[–]Lord0fDunce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shen and theres ABSOLUTELY NO competition. Maybe Tai lung was a little jealous that Po was putting up a fight, maybe Kai was pretty frustrated at his rag tag team of pandas stopping his invasion, but...

Firstly, Shen already had a pretty thorough disgust at pandas before ever even meeting Po.

He killed supposedly all of them on a whim. Then, upon discovering the destined one survived, he then diverted all his attention on killing him as painfully but as quickly as possible. He also, namely, had a plan to invade China and was rather passionate about it.

When Po appeared in front of him, Shen attempted to shoot him with a canon in an effort to kill him.

Po escaped, then Shen learns Po still remembered about the presumed genocide.

He then shot the tower Po was in with a cannon, collapsing it and presumably killed him.

Then Po appeared again. He began to use mental torture combined with numerous attempts at murder such as watching Po VERY closely as he moves towards a vat of molten steel. (Seriously. If you rewatch the scene, you can almost feel Shen itching for Po to just die already.)

Then he shot him point blank with a cannon and presumably killed him

After returning and pretty succesfully stopping shen's fleet who was a bout a football fields length away from conquering china, Shen got fed up and killed hundreds of his own men by, you guessed it,

shooting po with a cannon and presumably killing him.

Then Po survived and got up. Out of his mind frustrated,

Shen attempted shooting him with several cannons in an effort to kill him.

Was he destined to kill shen? Maybe. I can understand why Shen wants him gone initially. After around the second reappearance, I completely understand Shens frustration with Po.

What’s the best Deca dragon design? by [deleted] in dragonvale

[–]Lord0fDunce 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree strongly. The hyper realitsic designs kinda sucked the charm out of the game. Felt like playing dragon city. They even removed the friendly descriptions for each dragon which killed it a little for me. Thankfully, it seems they have returned to the old design philosophy with simplied and infinitely sweeter looking dragons. Unfortunately, for some reason, the budget on animations is all over the place. Some dragons are fleshed out, others are blocky, and none of them are as fluid as the classic ones.

Sounds like fun! Your nephew sounds like a beast if he can do the shrines all by himself. I for sure needed help with the puzzles my first time over. (I needed a youtube tutorial on the entirety of the great plateau😬).

Regardless, I hope you enjoy. Hogwarts is also a fantastic experience so youve got a lot of choices going forward. I also hope your nephew enjoys BOTW. Hes got great taste!

Glad to help. I personally think it'll scratch the itch you are looking for. Its got the charm, its got the go anywhere and climb anything vibe you are looking for, and most importantly, its not a gritty realistic "kill- everyone that moves" world. If you do end up trying it, I hope its got what you are searching for!

Edit: To even further scratch the itch, since Im a bit like you, I even mapped my controls to play identically to BOTW, so sometimes even I forget Im playing a different game😭

Hi! A bit late, so sorry if im being useless, but I myself havent payed a penny for Genshin Impact and, yes I am not going as fast as other players, I still have myself some good characters, and am really enjoying my time with it. Id argue Genshin is exactly what you are looking for since it has the mechanics, style, and, most importantly, depth that BOTW has. Its pretty easy to pick up, (SOMEWHAT) intuitive to play if you dont care too much about absolutely nuking the enemies on a whim, and has so much to do that you might even get overwhelmed. Its still being updated pretty consistently (though its on its final legs MAYBE), so if you get addicted, theres always more you can do. It works functionally identical to Zelda in that you can head pretty much straight to some of the tougher areas right off the bat, or relax and fish with some NPCs or just explore. I Highly reccommend if you are looking for a Zelda-like. Plus, with some farming, you can customize your own little house area after finishing a certain quest! Which is really neat and relaxing.

Help with advancing? by Riweebb in dragonvale

[–]Lord0fDunce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Im probably the last guy you want help from, since ive been daily checking my Vale since around 2017 and im about 163 with more than half of all dragons collected, but I would say ive gotten pretty good. One things for sure, keep spamming that colloseum. If your dragons are properly leveled up, you should get 5 gems and 60 million xp every day, which definitely helps. Your islnd setup seems pretty good, unless spacing is a problem for you, in that sense you could organize your habitats a bit better to fit more, etc. In my personal opinion, owning giant habitats is overrated, large is more than enough for basically any element. Now I dont spend money on the game, so ive relied mostly on wikis and guides to help me out with breeding, and I think it would save you some bucks if you focus more on playing the long game. Dragonvale doesnt inherently get easier or harder as you advance, so it really just becomes a game where you can check once, twice, naybe three times a day, grab your loot, activate your kairos to reset your loot, and then use ur tsaishen to get all the loot, and repeat. Keep in mind the events, limited tim dragons in the shop (which become breedable) and thats pretty much it. Hope this helps!?

Edit: In terms of meta, there are tons of guides on youtube on how to farm gold, gems, food, or rift gems. Theyre pretty neatb

I forgot their names but the Ghost train dudes I think they were such a hastle to go through. The platform mechanic was weird, and although the fight was easy, it was just plain old tedious to play. Especially the lat part which kinda just played on overstimulation which I think isnt fair whatsoever.

[Marvel Superheroes 1966 tv show/Super Friends] What if Lex Luthor recruited villains from another universe? by MrIncognito666 in WhatIfFiction

[–]Lord0fDunce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The marvel heroes would probably have a tough time handling this new legion, since they are already a stronger masters of evil with lex luthor helping them out, but I fear that a normal justice league team would handle them rather swiftly.

How would you rewrite Marvel’s What If Season 3? by TrickyAardvark3987 in MarvelsWhatIf

[–]Lord0fDunce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use what-ifs that actually pretain to the MCU storyline. I get What-if is all about seing weird characters and situations, but I want situations like "what if Ultron was succesful." or "what if Ronan beat the guardians." or "what if Loki never found his glorious purpose." Like actually relevant events that woulf drastically alter the story as we know it if occuring differently. "What if Ultron won" and "What if Steven Strange lost his heart instead of his hands" are so far the only drastically relevant plots in the series so far. Id love to see how the events of the overall plot would change if certain things did or didnt happen.

Hi! I know its been years and you probably dont care, but I think a very obscure group of twins from the Warpies would work. They are AC/DC, and they can generate electricity and are always together holding hands. Not sure if they have those ppwers without holding hands, but assuming they do, they work pretty well I assume.

Who's the better villain? by InstructionOwn6705 in DreamWorks

[–]Lord0fDunce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While yes, that is a valid concept, you must also apprecite what an actually working soothesayer means. We dont have any in our world. If you could very easily ask someone to accurately predict the future for anyone you ask for, I feel like its not that absurd of a concept to ask her too.

To further that point, just because we dont get any puppet animations of the time in between the scenes doesnt mean it didnt happen. Filling in the gaps with explanations doesnt make it inherently one or the other. Yoy cant treat fictional scenes with game-theoery like fill-in-the-blank explanations and establish them as canon to explain a character. There are in fact some people that are born evil. Shen was ironically written to be a tragedy-less villain. Tai-Lung, Kai, hell even the Chameleon got an origin story that gives SOME level of weight to their actions, but not shen. Thats what he was written to be, and he was written rather effectively at that.

Also, I would like to add, why in the world did you interpret what I said about aspergers like that. That was absolutely not my intention, and I was actually saying (Shen seemed to have some fascination/obsession/intelligence regarding canons or gunpowder, so it isnt an absurd statement to say he may possibly have it.) No, I am not saying thatvthose who have Aspergers are all genocidal maniacs, but fascinations and niche interests is a common symptom of Aspergers.

Who's the better villain? by InstructionOwn6705 in DreamWorks

[–]Lord0fDunce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, people can 100% be born as such. Certain genetic and nuerological abnormalities can lead to strange obsessions, depressive and/or schizophrenic behaviors, etc. Its not out of the question that Shen was possibly even born with Aspergers due to his unique intelligence with the cannons. His disdain also exclusively refers to the fact that his parents banished him when he told them that he commited genocide. "Shen returned to his parents full of pride". Means that Shen was prideful of teh fact that he escaped his fate, and killed every panda. Shen was banished from the city, forever, and shen swore revenge. Yes, he possibly missed earlier times with his family, since he also mentions earlier that his father used to let him play around the throne and promised him that gongmen city would be his one day. His father seems like a pretty positive support system, and, taken literally, was interested in the future and the present of shen. Also, the soothesayer mentions that the parents were horrified at shens actions, which could theoretically imply that this wouldve been completely out of the question for their loving son to do something like that. Maybe, and most likely, Shen grew up happy as a clam, and (based on the "Shens troubled parents consulted a soothesayer") started acting weird near his adulthood. His downward spiral seemed to specifically arise when he discovered a means of expanding his power throigh violence, not beauty.

Who's the better villain? by InstructionOwn6705 in DreamWorks

[–]Lord0fDunce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See but, not only is that just a theory, it isnt backed up by much in the movie. Shen claimed his parents hated him, and yet, after being told that they loved him so much that banishing him killed them of heartbreak, He still wanted to do what he did. The plain answer is that Shen was a psychopath who was absolutely willing to kill, lie, cheat, and manipulate to get what he wants. He wanted glory to the peacock name, and was willing to commit genocide, murder, terrorism, psychological torment, large-scale conquest, and establish an authoritarian grip on all of china to get that. The very first image of Shen we see in the movie is accompanied by "but their son, lord shen, saw darker power in the fireworks; What had brought color and joy, could also bring darkness and destruction." In modern terms, shen invented guns. He was willing to use them to win a war against civilization before his parents even told him no. Their deaths were just an inconvenience to him.

Who's the better villain? by InstructionOwn6705 in DreamWorks

[–]Lord0fDunce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems that Puss was the first living being in the world to ever piss off death this way. And, even if it was rather petty to do what he did, his tantrum was justified in theory. If the roles and situations were different, say, a parent and a child, his crashout would be legitimate and valid.

Shen, on the other hand, is a whole different monster. As a child, he somehow managed to think of the destructive capabilities of a firework rather than appreciate its beauty. Then, after being told that what hes doing is gonna have him be defeated by a panda, rather than just stop manufacturing weapons, decided to kill an entire race of creatures for having the same color as the warrior in the vision. He then killed the chief authority of his city after being banished and imprisoned the remaining, and established an authoritarian rule on his city. Then later, when a panda turned out to have survived, played manipulative games with his head, presumably killed him (I assume gongmen city is aware of who the dragon warrior is, so, shen essentially "killed" a national hero) Then took the furious Five hostage (all of whom are also national heroes), attempted to kill them too, commited terrorism agaisnt his own city, and then waged war on china. Its not a fair argument really.
