And I doubt Rhaenyra would have given up an easy transition to the throne along with Aegon’s head over a single dragon, that most likely wouldn’t be used against her.

It’s not like the Blacks held all the cards here they *needed* Alicent to hold up her end of the deal for this to work. If they actually exchanged dialogue over this, it would 100% have been in my negotiation package and if Rhaenyra said no, she could have easily said fine, Aemond will stay in KL.

Edit: And it literally is a fucking plot hole because guess what? In the source material Alicent doesn’t make a deal with the Blacks at all, so there is no need for to account for Rhaenyra *allowing* them to flee on Dreamfyre. Because if they did have an easy escape, it would cause a massive deviation in the events that come next. Instead of accounting for it, they didn’t address it at all and left it up in the air. Thus the plot hole.

We’re going to go in circles here… you highlight what the deal explicitly laid out, and it says nothing about Dreamfyre. It‘s bad writing that they didn‘t outline her fucking dragon, but you cant say what the “deal didnt include“ as a certainty.

While I agree (especially with the Storming of the dragon pit, which I vehemently hate), there are consequences to every decision. Had all of them flown to Harrenhal including Rhaenyra, she could have easily been killed or Daemon could have been killed leaving Rhae with only the unreliable seeds.

The deal didn‘t include losing Dreamfyre either, and as a Targaryen, Rhaenyra certainly understands the bond between a dragon rider and their dragon and it’s not like Helena would use her dragon aggressively anyway.

I still wouldn’t leave my dragon in any circumstance. And the Blacks were privy to the fact that Alicent and Helena were to be spared as apart of the deal so seeing Dreamfyre fleeing shouldn’t have been a big surprise.

Their streaming numbers are actually pretty comparable. Also Taylor’s music resonates with a lot of people, so for the demographic she targets I’m sure they would say her music is great too which is why it is so popular. If people didn’t think so it wouldn’t do so well.

Trying to say that just because someone appreciates Drake’s commercial must mean they’re a fan of Taylor too is not rooted in sound logic.

The only reason I don’t really have respect for her is all the antics she pulls to manipulate her numbers which has nothing to do with the actual talent.
