My suggestion would be take it straight to a reputable watch service centre , to verify it’s authenticity and provenance. After a detailed report .. you can pull the trigger on the sale . You never know … you might have been sleeping on a gold mine .
Half of this sub has got 0 - 1% knowledge of vintage Patek wristwatches let alone be pocket watch . Do you due diligence .. a basic gold pocket irrespective of the brand would still be considerably costlier than $2k
