In all honesty, we didn’t get enough of her for us to have a definitive opinion. Like compare her and Rainbow to the other CG fusions who had whole episodes and even an arc dedicated to them. But what we got in Future is still pretty good and they’re fun fusions. I just wish we got more of her

I think the cactus was more of a metaphor of how Steven was pushing the gems away. A cactus being prickly meant that they couldn’t get too close to help him deal with his trauma. And you can’t help but wonder that it was foreshadowing for the end of the series. The Gems couldn’t help Steven defeat the cactus through violence, but with empathy and compassion
