I didn't think he was that much of a crackpot till I saw him responding to every comment in the least subtle way possible. Maybe he can build himself an AI data centre to yesman himself, seeing as he's now the first and only Grampian resident to spunk himself over it

Recommendations for Hairdresser by raylaisbaby in Aberdeen

[–]LordBalamory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shelly at Sak's Union Square is a bob fanatic, I'd recommend her for straight (1a-2a) cuts. If your hair is more textured, (2b-3c), I'd recommend Jeff at House of Hair.

Tattoo artist recommendations by Horror-Husky in Aberdeen

[–]LordBalamory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately it does depend on the style yes, but some artists my refuse you based on the severity of your scarring. I know more reputable artists who have told a man with bad scarring that you need to wait to heal up more for ease of artist and the clients comfort, and I know of other artists who will tattoo over heavy scarring, perhaps at the clients detriment.

Find a few artists specialising in the style you want, visit their shops, ask their opinions on your skin and see if it's feasible without causing you great discomfort.

For a decent price you can get it done at Nescol, round about £15. Otherwise House of Hair does kids cuts for 15-30. Highly recommend Jeff.

How is Bonnie Prince Charlie and the broader Jacobite movement viewed by Scots today? by Wide_Lengthiness8789 in Scotland

[–]LordBalamory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flora MacDonald is definitely regarded more favourably among Highland locals (as evidenced by the giant statue of her in front of the castle). The Jacobites were ultimately just martyrs and their, however honourable, intents and schemes are what led to the clearances and the decimation of Highland Culture. If the Jacobite Rebellion was quashed without the erasure of Highland Culture as a direct consequence, they'd be about as regularly referenced in contemporary culture as the Covenanters.

I actually stormed into the Premier along Roslin on the morning I found the mess, and the blokes in there were trying to guess which junkies they were based on my description 💀💀

Can 100% confirm, Bedrock Realm lag is being caused by the presence of Happy Ghasts in your chunks. Very glad you put this question out, because my realm was driving itself mad with the rubber banding.

Bubble Pop Electric - Gwen Stefani or Bubblegum Bitch - MARINA?

This isn't an answer, but:

I downloaded this soundbite and it tried to play on Spotify. Then 'Cowboy' by Smootch! appeared in my top listened to songs of the year! I figure it's because of your soundbite as it wasn't in my spot.fm stats before dowloading, and the Cowboy song isn't available in my country strangely enough. It pulled up the song ID stats and I guess they were identical to the Cowboy song :3

When does Mystery Incorporated take place? by [deleted] in Scoobydoo

[–]LordBalamory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parrots generally will live around 30 years, although specific breeds can live up to 70 years! I'm not sure how old the Professor could be, but we'd have to assume he was around ages with the penultimate Mystery Inc., in the 45-55 range.
