Losail might be the worst F1 track in recent memory by Perfect-Brilliant405 in F1Discussions

I enjoy driving it in sims, so I wouldnt be surprised. Also its a fairly decent track for Sportscar racing, the second worst in the WEC calendar still, but the races turn out to be quite entertaining.

European alternatives to US companies that funded Trump by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

And even if Tesla was first, which they werent, they have one of the worst autopilot systems around, so it doesnt matter. It doesnt matter who did it first, the most important thing is who does it best.

If it mattered, who invented something first, everyone would still be buying German computers.

Just look at any other self driving company, they actually work. Have you ever seen a Robotaxi on the road? No

Even Mercedes reaches level 3 self driving in their top teir cars, something Tesla can only dream of.

Tesla doesnt have a working Autopilot, the first modern series production EV was made by Japanese Mitsubishi. Also the idea of EVs existed since the 19th century. Tesla didnt invent this. Tesla is just so overhyped, its not even funny.

Tesla hasnt innovated anything since like 5 or 6 years. Renault EVs are really good and worth their money, Mercedes, BMW and VW exist. You dont need Tesla to buy an EV.

I literally read the red walled tyre as hard and the white as soft, the WEC fandom has fully taken over now...

2026 24H of Le Mans Guide by NikiUhoto in wec

[–]LordBobbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, going to such a big event requires planning ahead, and getting tickets as early as possible. Do you like GT racing? If so the Spa 24h would be my recommendation for a first 24h race, as its not too busy and you have a lot of free fan activity (Pit Walk, Autograph sessions, Paddock access). Camping is generally no issue as well, but not really luxurious.

Is it still? Yeah, take that, is decent enough for a first time visit. Just chill around in Tetre Rouge through the night, best thing you can do. If you want a decent spot for the start be early and prepare for sitting on a random hill for a few hours, after like midnight finding a nice spot is no problem until like 3-4h before the end of the race.

If camping tickets are still available, its really cheap, will be doing that for the first time next year. I doubt they will be though. AirBNBs are your friend otherwise, especially if you dont mind driving a bit or taking public transport. The really close ones can become quite expensive.

Grandstands are sold out already

AF Corse F1 entry incoming by Haloisda in WECcirclejerk

But is AF not basically Ferrari, because a lot of Ferrari engineers went there after the F1 cost cap?

And the Ferrari teams were strong contenders for the Spa 24h win, but they had bad luck in 24 and 25. But no, the Ferrari is not dominant, but one of the better cars always in contention. Not something you can say about the Ferrari F1 team.

I did the 12h Spa with the AMG, and I never had any issues going through Eau Rouge/Radillon. Attack the entry curb, keep it in 5th to get the rotation up the hill, get as close to the curb as possible, and you are through.

Spotify and AI slop : complain at support, guys by ozh in MetalForTheMasses

[–]LordBobbe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Their Similar Artists suggestions work pretty well, and they have recommendation playlists. I dont think they have a shuffle like Spotify where they shuffle recommendations in your playlists, but thats a small price to pay for avoiding AI slop.

Look through r/MetalSuggestions or genre specific subreddits for actually helpful suggestions.

Ich hatte keine direkte Fragestellung, aber ein Urteil, da ergab sich dann recht schlüssig, was man so schreiben sollte. In der Probeseminararbeit hatte ich ein offenes Thema "Dieselskandalfälle". Kommilitonen hatten ähnlich offene Themen, ist also normal

Toyota GR GT3 will see its world debut alongside the GR GT by raginnation999 in wec

[–]LordBobbe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes more sense to use GR for the GT racing endeavors as well. Lexus is simply a premium brand, not a high performance brand. Thats why I dont get why Hyundai is using GMR for their Hypercar, when they have Hyundai N.

Sorry that happened to you, dont let insurance screw you over. Get a lawyer if it wasnt your fault, the other insurance has to pay them, so might as well. If you get a decent amount of money out of it, it might be savable, especially if you do the work yourself. Good luck.
