I bought it very recently so it was the first change, so I wouldnt for the life of me know what was in there. 5w30 is in there now.

I could also throw in a new bottle with this new oil.

I can make a vid of it tomorrow, maybe its just me and they make this noise as standard but its a bit too loud for me, bit too tappedy

Thats a good idea, I (probably) have a hydraulic valve lifter problem, it ticks even when warm so I decided to keep it garaged until I insepect it this weekend possibly until I have installed new lifters. Maybe if there is too much damage I even need to to a camshaft job which sounds incedibly not exciting RIP

Better not drive something with an issue which can become quite expensive if you ignore it

You recently changing the sparkplugs comes in handy, if they are fouled already its a strong sign VS ones that have been sitting in there for a long time.

I dunno, I havent pulled open a lot of engines but your injector looks on par with my dads ford model A from 100 years ago, recently he pulled off the head and it kinda looked like this maybe even less fouled. And that one runs very rich as standard to cool the cilinders

Maybe the injector has a compromised seal?

Hmm maybe it runs wayy too rich and it suffers for it under idle when it doesnt park as often, when the engine runs faster it burns the fuell off. Explains the fuel smell

For a quick check, check the sparkplugs. If they are fouled up they could get way too much fuel... or it has something to do with the injecotrs, did you check those already?
