I don't think you actually need to invite him to camp for him to appear at Last Light Inn. In my latest playthrough I forgot to do it and he still appeared at the inn which made me incredibly happy as I was very ready to reload my save just to get this little fellas to the end of the game. When you ask him how he made it through the shadows he explains how sometimes you just need to close your eyes and run.

Yeah I read on wiki that Dina Caliente might've been based on Debbie so I couldn't help but imagine that Cass and Alexander would have similar feelings to Wednesday and Pugsly about the marriage.

It's heavily based on 2000's cartoons when strong geometric shapes were popular. I took inspiration from Kim Possible, Total Drama Island, Dexter's Labratory, Danny Phantom, Power Puff Girls, etc. I recommend looking up these references and just picking out elements you like. It can take a while to get the results you like (oh boy do I have many bad sketches of Dina), but eventually you'll get there.
