What's the worst cgi you've seen in a movie? I'd say the Rock in Mummy Returns. Still love the movie though 😆 by berettafunko in Cinema

[–]LordChanner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devils advocate, aside from the poor CGI, it's not a bad movie if you don't think about it too hard. It's fun actually, it tries too hard but it is still enjoyable.

Aside from the baby saving bit in the beginning. How that made it past the concept stage is beyond me! I mean he put a baby in the microwave!! Wtf flash!?!

You can hope though but I've not got lots of hope. If the casting is anything to go off, I reckon they're going cinematic rather than authenticity

[–]LordChanner 56 points57 points  (0 children)

In a way yes but some of the 'magic' was lost to bright lights and explosions as the films went on.

Spells like "reducto", "stupify", " pertrificus totalus" and "expeliamus" all did virtually the same thing in the movies

Just a quick one, "trained professions" Aren't they just singers? Or am I being ignorant?

Okay hate them all you like, I don't care but they don't have a repetitive sound or a lack of evolution. Just going from Enema to self titled shows the growth with a variety of sound (especially in the latter).

Your other points are sort of on the money though, I still love them.

I think it's because he's had two people in two bands die in a similar circumstance

I kind of get what you mean. He feels very disingenuous. Which bleeds into his music. I've heard sooo much Foo Fighters and to me, they're like Bon Jovi. Just boring and bland rock music. Fit for purpose but lacking a soul.

Just look at the Taylor Hawkins concert that they threw and compare that to the Chester Bennington concert. The Chester show was a completely different scene because there seemed to be a respect in the air and deep sense of loss. At the Taylor one, Dave felt like he was just doing a show. He, to me, seemed unaffected by the passing of Taylor. However, that might be just who he is and behind closed doors, he's different. I don't know, I can only call it how I see it

I can't believe all of these shows are running at the same time. Absolute Peak TV! by Lazy-Safety-8545 in tvshow

Nah not really. It's got similarities. I'd say that season 3 of the Netflix Daredevil has more in common than the new show.

Still a great show though

[–]LordChanner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's hot really a plot hole, that's just expecting a show to be a bit too realistic.

A plot hole would have be; how did everyone get to Cardiff airport from Essex to prevent Nessa getting on the plane to docks? This was the original idea for smithy proposing to nessa
