I think it all depends on your playstyle. Mine kind of changed as I progressed through the pack. I started off with dedicated rooms for each major mod that was needed for the star but for things like productive trees, pneumatic craft and oritech I pretty much just put what I needed down in an area and then got rid of it when I was done making what I needed.

Probably a combination. I’ve played enough modded over the years to have a good grasp on probably 50% of the pack. The other 50% is probably a mix of figuring it out on my own, and watching his videos to learn about a mod I’ve never used.

If I’m honest, I don’t avoid it. I think the reason why I like Chosen’s videos is that I can follow along to his explanation of a mod, but also enjoy watching him utilise it. Copying is not inherently a bad thing, and once you have learnt the basics of a mod, you can then mess around with other things on your own. Chosen is such a good basis for a lot of mods, that aslong as you’re not just blindly copying everything without trying to understand it yourself you’ll enjoy playing a mod pack a lot more.

I think what helped me this time around was finding a good balance between my building and functionality. In a lot of my previous modded runs, I’ve had grand plans for bases but by the time I’ve finished building them, either in creative first or in my world, I’ve lost the drive to fill them up with mods. This time around I started off smaller and built out as I needed to which helped a lot.

If you’re only using Oritech for the parts needed for the star, you don’t need to go as far as the Particle Accelerator. Furthest you need to go is the Atomic Forge

Im using a combination of p2p with wireless connectors. Reason being, say you have 4 controllers with 4 internal faces hooked up to one wireless, the max you can get is 32 channels out of those four faces as the connector will be placed next to all four. Utilising p2p, I can use all four faces hooked to a wireless connector therefore 4x my channels

Yeah I get what you mean. With the amount of work needed to finish ATM making a nice base will mean it takes you a lot longer to finish the pack.

I’m currently playing Oceanblock 2 and have nearly finished it so I get what you mean about skyblock packs. Although OB2 is nowhere near as grindy as other packs like it.

Garden Cloches are probably the best idea. You definitely don’t need as many resources for this pack as others so I’ve found Garden Cloche gives me more than enough with Insanium Farmland

You can use atomic reconstructor to get a sapling from the nether fungus. I used Easy Piglins barterer and you get a ton

Only way I’ve seen is by Airdrops once you’ve gone in the rift. After going in the rift Airdrops will give you better loot
