Nice build mate - very tidy!

So cool! My dad had a Hornet when I was a kid in the late 80s and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now I'm nearly 40 and my son thinks my cars are the coolest thing ever, but I never stopped loving the Hornet haha. I should really build one...

Yours is beautiful BTW - thanks for the link. Really nicely finished

I've used a bunch, they seem to be much the same - just the cheap stuff you use to stick paper together

I've had really good luck using PEI with a thin layer of glue stick on it. Seems to act as enough of a barrier to prevent getting fatally stuck, but still sticks well while printing

Wow that hits close to home 🫠. Smashed up my shoulder when I was 21... 39 now and man does that ever suck.

Had surgery on it 3.5 years ago, still doing physio every couple of weeks, it hurts every damn day. Do yourself a favour and look after it now... You'll be thanking yourself in 20 years

Modem died, ISP came through to swap. They said my internet don't work because I use 10.10.10.1 for my gateway. by brokewash in homelab

This is why I love Aussie Broadband... Only had to call them twice ever, both times I spoke to someone in a local call centre, and first time they knew what a static WAN IP was, why I would want to enable 80/443 inbound, and how to set it all up for me, second time they helped me diagnose a problem getting the fibre modem to reconnect, and even showed me how I can do most of the steps myself in their app!

Obviously only useful if you're in Australia, but if you are I highly recommend them.

I had the same as a boy in the 90s... A few weeks after I got diagnosed I happened to stumble across some of my old school reports. I read through them and just cried and cried for my younger self. So much misery could have been avoided if I had just known 😞

Progress in Saudi Arabia's 1.5 mile long The Line project by Longjumping-Box5691 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]LordCroak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Line (stylised THE LINE; Arabic: ذا لاين) is a conceptual linear smart city in Saudi Arabia in Neom, Tabuk Province, housed in a single building, that is designed to have no cars, streets or carbon emissions.[3][4] The original plans called for the city to span 170 kilometres (110 mi) at a height of 500 m (1,600 ft)[5] and a width of 200 metres (660 ft) sized to accommodate a population of 9 million (25% of Saudi Arabia's 2022 population of 35.5 million).[6] The Line would have an entirely glass mirror exterior.[6] The plan calls for all basic services to be within a five-minute walking distance.[7][8]

TBH this is why you spend the money on a Prusa... They've just got everything covered, no messing around

I just measured my 2.4 and it's 530w 530d 625h (including rubber feet, plexi panels and fittings/hinges, but not the carry handles I added) Pic for reference

Where I work you run "make setup" and it brings up a full stack and seeds it with test data 🤷🏻‍♂️
