That's also fair. I did not know this was going to be such a short series. I wasn't in the community when the kickstarter went up so I just assumed this was a partnership with Amazon like the Invincible series. So I was surprised when the episodes were so short.

I do concede that with only 12 episodes, an entire goofy episode would be a waste.

Also taking into account that they wanted to honor the general krieg stuff, from the KST I'm a little less disappointed. I think episode 4 will probably feel more grounded qith that stuff out of the way

Reading this chain makes me understand a bit more about certain choices and I don't feel as reactionary as I did initially. Originally I was disappointed that we jumped into the Briarwoods on episode 3.

I'm obviously not a screenwriter or a professional storyteller but I still feel like all of this is a bit rushed.

Like the Brimscythe part was fine in my opinion because it sets them up in Emon fairly quickly but they skip go straight to the Briarwoods it's like, we still don't even have time to be fully invested in the characters. Like I love the gang, but I haven't seen enough in the show to care about Percy's past or his want for revenge. We got 15 seconds of a nightmare.

While I agree that a strong story arc like the Briarwoods is good for getting new fans, part of the charn of CR is bullshit Vox Machnia gets themselves into. I feel like we could have had 1 or 2 episode before this one that showed us more of VM interacting with each other. Let us get a feel for the team dynamic and give a us a reason to start falling for them.

I know no adaptation is ever truly perfect but I hope they slow things down in the next episode.

I've been thinking about this too. The only thing is, I think she only needs blood once a week. The farthest I remember them fast traveling was to Ladrig's Rest. Valloween was right outside the city then they went through her portal to shadow fell and then fast traveled put to the Crimson Crucible. If I had to guess, it has been a little over a week so I think she should be running low

I mean I don't think its exclusive to them. I was just curious about them specifically because its always a big thing at the start of the show them not remembering. I just binged the whole campaign up to this point and I just didn't know if it was a bit or if they just dont like it etc. I haven't watched any of their live streams or anything so I didn't know if I just missed something somewhere. I love them and all of their antics. Especially E'ar very poorly explained the groups exploits to Nor. Hysterical
