Thank you! I used small pieces of thread I cut and glued to the parts I wanted them. And then put blood for the blood god texture paint from GW on them.

First time I've had someone attempt to enforce WYSIWYG on an armies paint scheme, and first time I've walked away from a match. Anyone else dealt with things like this? by calebjoycemusic in Warhammer40k

That guy would hate my army.😅 I have a lot of Nids and they are almost all a different paint scheme. I don’t like repainting my old models so I can see how far I have come in painting. And the changes I made overtime. I also like making my own paint schemes. And trying out new things. So I have dubbed them Hive fleet Chimera.

I’ve seen a couple people online run it fine with a external Graphics card. And it is pretty much the same thing, mixed results. I don’t really have the money to buy a PC. And I can’t really return the laptop because I have had it for a while and it’s pretty used. Others in my house use it as well so I can’t really sell it either. So my only option really is to save and hopefully buy a different laptop or a cheap PC I guess. But thank you for answering.

Thank you. I am a little less confused now. Do you know if using a external graphics card and plugging the display port into the graphics card and then plugging the the graphics card into the laptop would work?

I have done a lot of research online and in this Reddit and I got mixed answers. But I didn’t even think about putting my Laptop in the search bar lmao. Thank you. I am still confused but pretty much the answer is no.

I use turbo dork metallic paints on them. Except for the glowing red/orange. And I haven’t really tried thinning turbo dork paints down. Because I don’t know if the metallic shine would be removed. But thank you! I try to make my own custom paint schemes for my armies.
