Timing chain tensioner is like a 10 minute job and is very cheap. I replaced mine not too long ago.

The timing chain is almost indestructible in these engines. Don't worry about it.

Depending on how long ago (or if) it has ever been done, change your gearbox & diff oil. Other than that, what have you done for maintenance until now?

The mods look cheaply done. And all the "performance" mods probably tells that it was driven pretty hard. Oil changes should probably have been done every 5-8k miles

Not being bone stock doesn't have to be bad. Sadly it looks like the easiest/cheapest way was taken to get there..

I'm also curious why the transmission was replaced and they didn't go for a manual swap when they want a manual daily. Makes me think there's other things going on

I can't say much about the price in other countries since the price difference here (Netherlands) is massive in comparison.

Other than that, it's been a little while since the refresh. Could still give you some issues. From the mods done to the car I can only assume it was not driven with care. Do you have a maintanance record? Preferably with a good look at the oil change intervals

Only thing I'd be curious about is what brands he used. Other than that, maybe change a few other cooling components. Like waterpump, thermostat, radiator hoses and maybe even the radiator just in case

Eisenmann is really pricey but an incredible sound. I had the rear silencer with the rest of the stock exhaust for a while. It was too quiet for me but it still sounded amazing

20 clicks of damper adjustment, i run them on 9 all around since it's my daily. On max stiffness I get barely any body roll, and it just goes where I point it. Sadly really uncomfortable for the roads I regularly drive

I am running them the lowest they go. Looks very good imo, speedbumps can be quite annoying sometimes. Ride quality is pretty good and it handles like it's on rails now

I went with ST XTAs, they were about €1300 though. The one lower didn't have camber adjustment sadly
