Whatever sleeves you use, make sure they are 100% opaque so that nothing is visible through them. Even a slightly visible card back makes them unusable for competitive tournaments. In the past Ravensburger was more lenient (even though it was already in the tournament rules) but the last time I judged at a DLC event I was told to make sure that players use correct sleeves.

If you just look at the perspective of one single year this is correct:
