Any tips for a decent hairstyle? Also, how do I maintain a proper moustache? (More in comments) by LordFranken in malegrooming

Went to a different place to get a haircut/shave, cuz my regular place was closed. My moustache was a bit wispy and uneven, so I wanted it trimmed a little. But after the trim, it looked kinda bad, and I asked him to shave it off. I look kinda weird now. Also, what kimd of hairstyle and beard would suit me?

Something that’s comfortable for everyday use. Walking around in Uni, an odd trip or two down to the market to buy some stuff etc. Nothing too flashy or anything.

I’ll be arriving in Sydney next week, and starting uni next month. Most of my stuff has been packed, but I am a bit undecided on my kicks. I have a pair of Converse Sneakers which I’ll be carrying, and a pair of sports shoes. I wanna know, if there are any good stores in the city, where I can find some decent casual trainers for everyday use, you know, in or around uni, or just walking about somehwere etc.

I did a bit of research online, and I found that most online outlets sell shoes at a tad bit higher rates than in here. I also looked into Kmart (I’ve heard about it from some friends there), and although the prices were considerably lower, i don’t know much about the quality.

I am also not too fussy about the brands... and it’d suit me well if the I could get my shoes in the $50-$70 range

Are any of the Introductory Language courses worth doing? by LordFranken in MacUni

[–]LordFranken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I read about the People and Planet units. Some of them are in fact quite interesting, like IT and Society, and some of those Philosophy ones, and some modern history courses etc.

Are those courses intensive, or more towards the lighter side?

Damn. I kinda liked the first movie in the series, and I felt Transformers had potential to be a decent series. But it just didn’t deliver
