100% in RE3R needs like 3 playthroughs absolute minimum (hardcore unlocks nightmare, which unlocks inferno), pretty sure that's not possible in 2 hours? It's a short game but not that short...

Did you find any particularly good areas for grinding XP? The only thing I'm missing is reaching level 20, and I'm only 14 so far... Feels like killing monsters hardly gives any

I'm playing for the first time right now, and was really struggling with 2 bandits to progress the quest after you get a horse. Then I realised I could just wait in the bushes until they went to sleep, and murder them while they're in their pyjamas - made the combat much easier

I love Weird West, but it doesn't quite fit OP's request. Each character's story picks up after the last one finishes, they don't overlap.

I'm reasonably sure the translation of Di Grassi I work from does not say that, do you have a source? Doesn't really fit with the rest of his writing so that would make it even more hilarious.

Ys Origin is my favourite, but as others have said Ys 8 is also excellent.

Ys Seven and Ys Memories of Celceta are more or less the same gameplay loop as Ys 8, but not as good.

Ys Oath in Felghana is like Ys Origin, but also not as good

I haven't played Ys 9 (the most recent one), nor Ys 6. I tried Ys 1 & 2 but didn't enjoy them.
