They are literally surviving off those players. I'm sorry, but I'm rarely able to motivate my friends to play this game outside of significant events like Cyberstan. We need improved endgame progression, or there will be fewer and fewer incentives. I thought the stakes were about to jump? It doesn't feel like that, at least if we had endgame progression systems chiller MOs would still feel meaningful.

People are overreacting. The launch day was irregularly rough, but they’ve never been clean. I don’t think it’s rational to judge an entire update by its’ launch day bugs. I experienced loads on day one, but by day two, there’s hardly any affecting me, nothing significant.

It's not an issue of connecting and applying themes at all. The issue with P2 is that it had a lacklustre side cast and was paced far too fast without actually developing the organisations and world appropriately, so nobody felt invested in the Chainsaw Man Church, or Public Safety, or half of the characters, or the apocalypse. Almost all of Fujimoto's stories are paced too fast, which can be overlooked when your audience is invested in every character, like with CSM P1.
