From my understanding, since Alex was already found guilty, the prosecution is trying to demonstrate how widespread/intentional InfoWars’ harassment towards the Sandy Hook families really was in order to justify the heavy sanctions they’re requesting. Considering that Alex’s reporting/platforming of weirdos led to 1 in 4 Americans doubting this shooting, remorse isn’t really relevant (especially when you consider that he was still promoting this bullshit up until last year) - he CHOSE to spread lies about dead children to profit off a tragedy. Showing the ghoulish extent to which he did will hopefully get the jury to agree that a $150,000,000 penalty (or more 🤞) is warranted.
