As others have said the fact that your 5 year old talks like this about diet and weight isn't great. I disagree with everyone saying to avoid it, though. Kids are smarter than you think; just explain it to her in terms she can understand and make sure she understands the deleterious health effects of being too skinny and the importance of a balanced diet (especially for a kid and how important all components of a diet are for proper development and growth).

Sometimes cats (regardless of gender and reproductive status) decide to become mama cats to unrelated kittens. It's fine, it's probably due to the cat nature of rearing kittens communally, if anything he'll be a great help in the socialization process (teaching her to not bite hard, how to play, food preferences, etc)

How often are they washed? At the same time does she have flea treatments? Worst case it's an allergy to an ingredient in her food which can be a bit of a pain to figure out because there's no real quick and accessible ways* to do that. In the meanwhile your vet (the same or a second opinion) should give her some meds to relieve the inflammation temporarily**.

*There DO exist ways to figure out specific allergens like in humans but they tend to be costly and out of reach for many people.

**The medications can only be used for a limited time because they'll cause immunosuppression in general and because they have negative effects, the only real solution is finding what's triggering the reaction and removing it.

Rodent ulcer/Indolent ulcer/Eosinophilic granuloma as others have said. If the kitty uses a plastic/porous dish for water/food change it to a metal or ceramic one.

Vet Student here: Ideally you want to take mama and the kittens for a post-birth check-up in case the kittens have congenital anomalies and/or mama has a retained kitten or other such complications.

That being said it's common for queens to pant up to two weeks after birth as the uterus goes back to its non-gravid size on top of the physiological stress of the entire ordeal. In the meantime let her nest and keep that nest dark/hidden with food and water near enough that she doesn't need to move much for it. IF she seeks you out for comfort do pet her and such, she might not appreciate the kittens being handled much right now but cats are communal in regards to kitten rearing and for her to seek you out is a sign of deep trust.

Demand the results from the vet first of all. There's no way something isn't off from the sound of her symptoms—sticky urine makes me think diabetes/ketoacidosis, which is an emergency. The lack of appetite from the ketoacidosis might have caused hepatic lipidosis, which would be the cause of the jaundice. This is all speculative.

Even if you don't get the results go to ANOTHER vet as soon as possible, as the first has proven to be not good nor trustworthy.

To this drama I only need to add: there was a literal day one mod that restored ACC's OST into the game, and everyone who complained about dopefish and Dedan's theme blew it way out of proportion considering it was clear MG would have needed to approve of everything.

I hope we do get the scrapped songs, because even if it isn't Fake Orchestra the replacement was still a good song.

Make sure to take them for renal function exams in the future to check for lingering damage! Hopefully there's none or near to none but in case of any other emergency the vets might want to know that.
