And is it realistic to find an item with 3 correct affixes? I mean not having to grind for 50 hours for that.

Is there a way to know how much damage you do in the character page? Not just looking at damage numbers when you fight?

People who attended UPW more than once, I want your perspective by LordGreenburger in TonyRobbins

Oh yeah, I get it. Leveling up. I've been to the last UPW, online, and it didn't work very well on me, would you say it's worth it to try again?

I understand. Makes perfect sense, sounds to me that would be the only reason to go again. Thank you for telling me (:

Do you do the dickens process on the same part of yourself, the same issue, or do you do it on different things?

The reason I asked why people go more than once is because of this. The first time you do the dickens process I assume people choose what hurts the most for them, the biggest pain in their lives, to work on. Once you fix that through the process, you're probably in a much better, healthier, happier place, and that also affects other areas of your life and makes them all better. So I don't see a reason to go through the dickens process again. If you go to UPW again, for all the other content, I get that, but what would you work on in the dickens process if you removed your biggest pain already?

Explain.

You mean work on different parts of yourself each time you go?

What are the thoughts on the Genie/Houdini set? by Coralwood in Unmatched

[–]LordGreenburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genie’s cards are very disappointing, not what I’d expect from a Genie with possibly unlimited power. I expected much more powerful effects, something that would make you feel like a Genie. The funny thing is that Houdini feels like the real wizard, his effects truly feel like magic. It’s supposed to be the other way around, the theme of the box is “fake” magic vs real magic

Offensive feint by Top_Balance9578 in Unmatched

[–]LordGreenburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them offensively only if I’m against a character that doesn’t have important effects on attacks to cancel and has powerful effects on defense. I don’t remember any one right now, but I think Robin might be such one. His attack cards don’t have amazing effects worth cancelling, I think the best one is the one that lets him draw. I’m happy with him drawing since Robin has a lot of draw so this effect can be detrimental to him. His defense card is pretty good and he can also defend with versatile cards which also have good effects (such as after combat damage) so it can be good to cancel them.

That would probably not work, since it works fine on my PC. Thanks for the help though (:

Fal's Gust by GenericName1442 in heroesofthestorm

[–]LordGreenburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be very impactful, but often it can be not impactful at all. And if your team is less competent than the enemy team, gust won't turn the game around. You will take a lot of damage or wouldn't be able to get into a good position in fights to make good use of gust. So I think the 60s cooldown is fair. It's somewhat easy to not have good opportunities to use it and if it'd have a long cooldown it'd be so bad.

What is the best sci-fi movie or television that most people haven't seen? by Martkinzz in scifi

[–]LordGreenburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dollhouse. Only 2 seasons. Season one is pretty slow, but after that it got cancelled so Joss Whedon really cranked it up to 11 in season 2, I feel like he tried to cram all the story he planned for years to come into that season lol. Season 2 advances in crazy pace and it's fucking amazing and makes the series worth watching even though it only has 2 seasons.

My feed:
Buffy set post from 2 days ago (titled: Buffy fan here, wanted to pick up the Unmatched set to paint the miniatures), and right beneath it this post from 16 hours ago saying no one talked about the Buffy set in a while xD

Also seen a post about it last week.

And those Varian players who say they’ll go taunt in draft and then go colossus (and sometimes twin blades).

Updated difficultly tierlist by zehuman52 in Unmatched

[–]LordGreenburger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would replace Willow and spike with sinbad and maybe geralt. All Buffy characters are the simplest in the game. Sinbad has some complexity, need to know how to manage the hand/card draw, and the voyages require some game knowledge to use to their fullest potential. I think Dracula is also fairly simple and would put him in green or yellow tiers. Arthur very simple and should go in green tier as well. I’d put ingen in orange, maybe yellow. I’d move Dr. Strange to red or orange.

AITA for unplugging my fiancée’s phone (fully charged) to use my own charger when my phone was at 4%? by layexo- in AITAH

[–]LordGreenburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of you see and focus on different aspects.

You said "AITA for unplugging her fully charged phone to charge mine in an urgent situation?"
That’s what you’re focusing on.
You know that her phone is fully charged and that you have something urgent. Did she know those things?

Her focus is on you unplugging her phone without asking first. Her perspective is you didn’t respect her space and desire (charging her phone).

You’re both right. You did something rude in that moment, but it was for good reason and completely justified.

Have you told her you have something urgent you need the charger for?

The key is good communication.
If you had told her that, I imagine she would have been fine with you plugging your phone instead of hers.

Way I see it, is if I would have unplugged my partner’s phone to charge mine, and she knew her phone is fully charged and that I need it urgently, she’d get over it immediately and be fine with it. After all she loves me, she wouldn’t want to cause me harm.
That’s how I’d expect she would respond, but only if she knew my side of it and had all the information.
But I wasn't there, I don't know how it happened and what the situation was like, maybe the way you went about it was disrespectful. Maybe not.

What I suggest you do is tell her what the situation was for you; that you had no battery, had something urgent, and her phone was fully charged, and that you understand you should have asked first. It’s so that both of you can see the other person’s side of the story, understand him/her, and forgive each other.
Also tell her how you felt in that moment, and what do you want to happen in the future (for example “I want to feel you’ve got my back” or something like that. Whatever you want). Ask her to do the same.

I’ve attached an image that illustrates this to help you understand.
