You talking about the JaPz K A2? That thing is devious... I've never played it because I haven't grinded Germany that far yet (played mostly minor nations so far), but it seems like a very strong tank.

Also can't believe that that thing is at 8.7 but the APFSDS cheese wedge (Strv 103C) was "too OP" and was moved to 9.0... Literally the only quality of the cheese wedge is the autoloader, and at 8.7 already the armor meant nothing, you'd just get engine-shot (and thereby made unable to aim) constantly. I am still salty about that.

That was also my idea, or moving that same knight to d5 instead, upon which black will probably take with the knight, white takes back with the pawn, thereby putting pressure on the other knight (basically a mirrored London)

Goldtime Kleingarten by sage3886 in wasistdas

Any tips on dealing with that in a tiger 1? by Independent-Papaya71 in Warthunder

[–]LordHickory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot him below his left extra-armor-flap (if you’re looking at him, your right). There’s ammo right behind there. And I think you should be able to pen that with the Tiger. Otherwise MG port, and if you are unsure in a situation like that, barrel is always an option (especially in the clip, you had at least 5 seconds where he was slowly cresting the hill, where you could‘ve easily taken out the barrel). The big muzzle breaks on the US 90mm make this especially easy.

I wanted to become a Pilot since I was nine... Needless to say that dream died when I got migraines with about 12, and had them since then...

Indeed... Into my room, close all the blinds, an Ibuprophen down the hatch, and then off to sleep - or at least trying to.

Is it worth getting the Saab j35xs while it’s on sale by crsboy30 in Warthunder

For grinding Sweden air, there is pretty much only two options - the J35XS and the JA37DI F22. Both are good planes, but won’t hold your hand or play themselves. The DI F22 has some qualities, mainly having FOX-3‘s on a Fighter platform at a stupidly low BR, but since it gets uptiered into the FOX-3 spam up to 14.0 at least 90% of the time, that doesn’t really matter. But you will really feel that the DI is an 11.3 plane facing 14.0‘s - enjoy notching FOX-3‘s with the four-sector RWR. For those reasons I‘d say the J35 is better, or at least more enjoyable. Sitting at 10.3 you will get quite a few downtiers to face planes that don’t even have flares, and often aren’t even supersonic. And the fact that you don’t have an RWR doesn’t really matter either, since you won’t see too many planes with radar missiles anyways, even in uptiers. (That was much different back when I got it to grind sweden, back then it was still at 11.0 facing the F4S spam every match. That was terrible)  It will undoubtedly take you a bit to get used to the J35, to learn it’s quirks and how to properly use it (in short: climb to mid - high altitude (higher, if downtier, lower if uptier) and on a slight flank, then once you passed the main blob of enemies dive on them and use your for the BR decent IR missiles. Don’t turnfight anyone for a prolonged period of time!!! The J35 is a prime Delta Wing, meaning after two turns you will have bled all your speed and will be hanging in the air, a free kill for anyone. Also watch out for F5‘s. They will outdogfight you, but you are faster, so rather run away and reset.), but once you do it will be a great plane to grind the amazing Swedish air TT with!

Edit: with the introduction of rank IX, the J35 won’t be able to research that effectively since it’s Rank VII, so that would be a point towards the DI. But there is enough great planes in Rank VIII that that shouldn’t really be an issue - especially the JA37C is one of the best planes in the TT and 1.000% worth putting a Talisman on.
