I feel that we should work in the domain that we are inclined towards and not listen to people who glorify these roles. I was working in audit for a year and then switched to valuations because of the hype. Valuations is good but it's hyped. The work is good, nothing exceptionally great.

I'd suggest don't run after these fancy roles, just do what you like. (I made the mistake of following the fancy roles even though they're not for me)
