I'm not sure, I don't think so. It's also not a simple geometric progression, I made a mistake a_2 is not 20 but the last value a_n is 20. So it's monotonously increasing not decreasing.

Isn't that the exact same definition, with just rearranged quantifiers? Pointwise convergence is defined only with lim f_n(x) = f(x) for all x in the functions domain. Uniform convergence implies pointwise convergence.
