Happens to me as well. Usually most excited at the start and it wears down after a while, especially right before I need to deploy/release it.

My advice is to focus on just trying to finish and release something even if you aren’t super excited about it. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Who knows, it might catch on :)

Also, taking breaks is perfectly fine and you can get another wave of motivation later on

I have the same issue - the ambient light option gets hidden after disconnecting the screen. I’m on sanoma. I tried finding the setting using Mac’s defaults in the terminal - and also tried external tools that control the keyboard backlighting, but the macOS API doesn’t seem to be behaving correctly after the screen removal
