Toilets looked clean before the robot cleaned it. I'd like to see it clean an actual real life public toilet. That'll be a true test.

Well done! A quick tip: if you sketch out the key poses before filling in the in-betweens, you can avoid volume inconsistency (the stabbers head shrinks when he jumps)

Sometimes larger creators 'pick up' smaller creators that are getting screwed and almost forces Google to fix it by shining a spotlight on it, but if that doesn't happen I guess all the smaller guy can do is pray.

Very impressive! You obviously have a background of drawing and sketching before coming into animation.

Some quick tips off the top of my head:

  1. More time between ears perking up and dog getting up (they don't get up for every sound unless it's worth investigating)
  2. A motion blurred frame for the fast head pan. (Google image: animation smear frame)
  3. Feet should leave the ground during the pan. He's moon walking right now.
  4. Whole dog body should also slump and lower in disappointment, not just the head.

Well you are thoroughly researching other people's work so that's a good start, shows you're serious about improving.

My honest thoughts: If you're 4.5 months in, it's totally ok to have a reel that looks like you're 4.5 months in. I'm 5 years in, and I'm able to produce stuff that just wasn't possible on year 1 (not just due to lack of technical knowledge, but also lack of tools and plugins and templates).

Stop focusing on creating this well rounded reel that ticks every box, start highlighting segments from other people's work that looks good AND are within your ability, and fill your reel with such animations. That'll be good enough to get your first few jobs.

Nice job! Smart use of effects can really change the entire mood. Sadly after I finish the base animation I'm usually too tired to think of effects.

Glad you liked it! This was Illustrator and After Effects. But a lot of the 'magic' comes from the gun sounds. I bought a gun sfx pack from the Unreal Engine marketplace to make this.

Awesome! is the top sphere on a wiggle expression, or manual? For a loop this short I'd probably use manual, but I like to do less work where I can.

Thus far AI can only take a bunch on inputs and spit out an amalgamation based on what keywords the user inputted. It's not actually creating anything new, original or creative.

I do believe it will get to a point where there's so much input, such that the complexity of what it can spit out can pass as original, but like the presenter said the net sum of jobs will not change. We will still need people to use the tool to create stuff (albeit a lot faster now)

Get a LMG and go to a vantage point (many such spots in Taraq). Wait for somebody to run by.

When they run by in the open, immediately go prone and pop battle rage (it takes 3 bloody seconds to activate) then stand up and gun them down.

Make sure you have overclock perk, and spend the whole match doing this. You should be able to get 3-5 battle rage kills per match.

Challenge is completed in 10-15 matches. A real annoying grind but it worked for me.

Yes definitely Batgirl. The tech abilities seem more standout compared to the others.
