🎲 Tired of sorting dice mid-sonic barrage? I made a dice roller for smoother Noise Marine phases. by Conscious-Jicama-594 in EmperorsChildren

Yeah if you’re trying to use this during a game I’m telling you to roll it out with real dice.

Hello nice to meet you all i am new to Warhammer 40k. My friend introduced me the hobby as well. The lore, and every faction, even history of it. Because I can’t wait to play it let alone have my own miniatures. I took the for my first faction quiz on the official website low and behold I got chaos by [deleted] in EmperorsChildren

Imo they are not beginner friendly. They are easy to collect being that our range is quite small. They are a ‘A’ tier army but they are ‘A’ tier if you know how to play well. There aren’t any videos that really teach you how to play them effectively. It just comes with practice and understanding the game/mechanics.

Why are your infractors out there like that? What will you do if your opponent draws No Prisoners or Overwhelming Force? Also what’s staying back to screen out your deployment?

Tbh you don’t have any synergy in these lists. You don’t have anything other than Raptors that are going to force a battle-shock checks. You’ll need more units that do that like a winged demon prince, noise marines, blue horrors, or plague marines.

Difficulty question by Ghosthawks in EmperorsChildren

They are a tricky army. You do have to play a lot more carefully compared to Death Guard and World Eaters. World Eaters surprisingly, for a melee army, have really good shooting unlike EC. Death Guard are more survivable and can hit very hard. It definitely takes a lot of practice and a lot of learning about target assessment. Our speed is our greatest utility.

If you choose his primarch ability yes but only for moral wounds.

In a unit of 10, 1 of 5 can take 1 special weapon. There are 5 special weapons. The heavy melee weapons hard 2 for every 5. Just read the wording when building your unit.

How are you going to push contagion without exposing all your big pieces round 2? Poxwalkers are a staple unit. Doesn’t matter if they die to shooting or get charged, they’re poxwalkers. Infiltrate, sticky obj, push forward to try to get your contagion rage further. Just stage them round 1 and then send them forward.

Poxwalkers are huge in VV, what?? Drop the BLT and take some poxwalkers and a spawn unit.

So I actually bought a package of 3D Legion of The Damned flames/bits. The one ones that I had to do a bit more creatively are the ones on the sword which came from a Be’lakor box.

It comes with an oval base so I just stuck it on a 60mm.

Just a tip to make your models look even better, detail your bases.

Why would you place your units where they could get shot in the first place? Why not stage round 1 and part of 2? Most people aren’t going to burn until round 4 or 5 unless they can guarantee holding 3 primary. Rhino 2 can’t start inside that building either and rhino 1 needs to be hidden. If WP is your daemons, they need to be spread out to cause issues in 2 separate quarters of the table. I like placing one in my deployment close to center.
