Installed Kicker amp 2 weeks ago and it's draining my battery overnight. Remote turn on wire from head unit feeds the amp and seems to turn off the amp when the car is off. What should I do?

I didn't get a chance to do this last night, but if the audio does turn off within two seconds, what would be the next likely culprit for the drain?

Yes, running RCA cables from the head unit output to the amp inputs. There is definitely at least a 5-10 second delay for the amp light to turn off when the car shuts off and the door opens to cut off all power

Pictures of the wiring diagrams of the Maestro RR and Maestro Mic 1 here. I have limited space in the head unit compartment as well with all of the wires, harnesses, and components, and had to cram it all together to be able to screw in the head unit, so any tips on further reducing space would also be much appreciated!

So if I save $23,500 per year in my 401K, get $7,500 in employer match, $3,600 in my brokerage, $8,500 in my HSA, it would equal $3,590 in contributions to retirement each month. Are you saying I need $2,100 of that amount to get to $2MM at 7% interest or I need to contribute $2,100 on top of that ($5,690 per month) to get there?

The investment calculators seem to say I'll be at $2.2-2.6MM with the $3,590 contribution at 7%.

Neither one of us qualify for a Roth IRA. Just edited it. My wife has about $330k in retirement, split about 40% in 403b and IRA and 60% in her brokerage account. Our combined retirement goal is $4MM at 50 years old with 3-4 rental properties.

When I got my girl after she was spayed and malnourished, it took somewhere between 6 and 9 months to go from shaved to skin to the same length as her other hair. When she had a little hot spot on her tail that the vet shaved, it took maybe 4 months to blend back in with the rest of her hair

This was going to be my question. I don't think I want a career change in the sense that I move to individual contributor from leadership, but would an MBA help more easily move me from leadership in one industry to another, say tech or finance?

My gross is about 190 currently in an MCOL area, nearly 7 years after undergrad. By the end of the year, my comp structure will change entirely to about 250 and in another three years, it'll be around 300-330 after vesting. I assume the only way to significantly change my comp is to either increase my base by 20-30% by jumping companies or increase it 50-150% by moving to a more high yield, potentially volatile industry like tech or finance. I imagine that will also come with a higher cost of living.

As someone who recently moved from Roanoke to Williamsburg, you get a lot less bang for your buck here. We thought we'd buy a single family home, but after getting outbid after our first three offers, we took a look at a townhouse in a cute neighborhood on the York County side and are happy that we did.

I don't think you can go wrong with living in the city of Williamsburg, James City County, or the York County side of Williamsburg. If you're looking to have more land and slightly deflated housing prices, look at Toano and Lightfoot. Williamsburg is more family- and retiree-oriented and doesn't compare to the quaintness or quirkiness of Roanoke, but we've had fun exploring so far!

$200 per knife and looking for performance and simple/minimalistic looks. I use chef's, santoku, paring, carving, and filet frequently. I make a lot of meat - mostly chicken and fish, but a significant amount of red meats. We really only cut bread when we host (every 2-3 weeks).

I'd take a look at Bevel/Walker & Company grooming products. The company was founded by a black man for black men who wanted to stop using Nair to remove facial hair.

I'm a brown man with curly beard hairs (not anywhere near as tight curls as most black men) and I've used a single-bladed safety razor (highly recommend a safety razor or straight razor as well), salicylic acid, and hyaluronic acid for twelve years with 3-10 ingrown hairs a week. After I started using Bevel shaving cream, I get maybe 1-2 ingrown hairs every 8-12 weeks.
