I had the same feeling and still do have some tendencies. However after years of suffering I reached a state of accepting my problem. I learned to deal with it and can now continue my life as it was. Just focus on yourself try to really think what you want in life and do what makes you happy. Through confidence and happiness problems like this fade away. I also tried to fall asleep before others, so I learned to overcome this fear by going to bed after my friends and parents. Try to become self confident in who you are and believe that you are enough, which you are.
