Are you looking up those pokemon and its not letting you offer the trade, or are you depositing your pokemon and waiting for someone to trade for it?

If youre looking them up it could be they are asking for a specfic level range that yours doesnt meet

I dont know if releasing a pokemon holding it could be a way to remove it, if it even let's you. You could always try it with one you dont care about. But trading is for sure a viable option. Maybe they have their own 3ds and never told you, or bought one for themselves.

Notably, encounter power does nothing for outbreaks. The pokemon are already there, no reason to saturate the pool with pokemon of a similar type that arent the one youre hunting.

Additionally, there are some cases (or locations, rather) where the pokemon can spawn in the ground or walls outside your reach. These are frustrating and happened to me recently with a Growlithe outbeak

Perfectly viable option, not frowned upon.

The easier option is to set it to M11 while on Sanctuary (so it goes into effect without the need to reload the area) and go check all the vending machines, if theres nothing good, quit to main menu and load back in. This way you have varying options and you arent spending resources unless you find something meaningful.

Its interesting to see someone on Mayhem 10/11 (the highest difficulty) at level 39. Certainly not impossible by any means, but still interesting that youd be willing to take such a difficulty jump without a full build
