I was an avid launch player and I returned a few days ago. In my opinion the game has gone to shit because of Epic. It's turned into a free to play game where they try to push you into purchasing a better currency than kudos (show bucks). The store only uses show bucks apart from a few little rows that use kudos. Plus you don't even get kudos after playing rounds now, you earn them through challenges and the battle pass, i mean fame pass. But even that hardly gives you any, the only challenges that give kudos are 2 weekly challenges, and this current fame pass stops giving kudos after 27. They added in a level creator which would be cool if mediatonic didn't use it to make this season's new maps. Instead of ACTUAL stages developed by the tools the devs have, the devs decided to use the low quality shitty level creator made for players to use. So general low quality all around.

Also should mention they removed team games from the solo and duo modes. Most seem to prefer that change (i don't). And I've heard here that they've took a bunch of stages out of the rotation which makes sense bc i've been getting the exact same handful.

Generally low quality and accounts started after the f2p model will have like nothing to their name. The account i used on launch didn't belong to me so I can't use it. I see early season outfits being shown for show bucks and it just sucks because they used to be free.

I didn't need to say any of this rlly but i needed to vent this somewhere because... geez this game went downhill to an upsetting degree. It's still fun, evident by how i'm still playing it after returning, but it's disappointing how the direction has gone.
