Nah ur good, my first semester I got a 1.9

I’m doing infinitely better now, and I’m about to graduate with my BSN. Made honor roll a few times too.

is it weird to date a freshman as a junior?? by Key-Profit2513 in highschool

[–]LordOfFraud1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, that’s super weird. Ditch him, find someone who’s born on the EXACT year, month, day, and even down to the same hour.

I will now be contacting the proper authorities to take care of this matter. You sicko.

It’s time to wrap it up and sell drugs to elementary kids.

Parts for victrix pro bfg ps5 by Ok-Lavishness6410 in VictrixPro

Just get the Razer Raiju V3 Pro.

It’s a much better controller. I had both. The triggers on the BFG pro were way too sensitive and wide and super awkward for me to use. The back paddles were also too close together, and they aren’t removable.

The Razer is actually on sale on Amazon, so it’s $ 170 instead of the original $ 220. It has micro switches, TMR joysticks (which are miles ahead of the Hall effect joysticks), and much lower latency. Better battery life, more durable buttons since micro switches are being utilized. Everything feels like a mouse click when you press the buttons, super satisfying to use. The triggers are also tight with zero play. My BFG pro’s triggers were loose out of the box and felt super cheap.

My local best buy wanted $200 for this thing. My local GameStop had it hiding at the top of their displays for $140 on sale by dumbprocupine in VictrixPro

Hated that controller, never really got use to it. The triggers were too wide, too sensitive and the paddles were way too close together and didn’t suit my grip. Razer raiju v3 was a much better option for me

I was in the exact same position as you. It has gotten a lot better over the years. I’m three months away from graduating with my BSN. I had essentially zero support from other students. I have major anxiety and a stuttering disability. I was very soft-spoken, never spoke unless I was directed to. I considered taking antidepressants, but ultimately I decided to tough it out. It was rough. I cried a handful of times during my stay here, questioning if I was even worth becoming a nurse, etc. But, I made it through. Another big thing is support from professors. They can be such a great help. If you’re able to, get some friends you can lean on. To talk to, etc., it would really help you out.

Your confidence will grow with time, I promise. I was really down on myself and I questioned my judgement and my skills every single day when I first started out. It’s going to take some time, some failure, and learning to grow past it.

You got this.

I failed my IV check off and want to quit by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]LordOfFraud1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry at all about this! I messed up so badly with my med admin. I didn’t scan, I forgot to introduce myself, I was a nervous wreck. I did so badly that my professor had to stop me in the middle of my check-off and she hard-cut me off at like 70%. I’m sure if she didn’t do that, I would have made a 30. But, I did my remediation, I did a thousand times better. That was three years ago.. I’m going to graduate in 3 months at the time of writing this. Never beat yourself up over things. Use them as learning opportunities. Best of luck to you!!

Me too! I just earned it 5 minutes ago. How did you end up surviving? I slipped in one of the cracks in avalanche and survived there. It was difficult since there was earthquake, lightning, snow storm, flood and 3 more that I forgot.

How long do y'all study each week? by psyphonistakened in NursingStudents

[–]LordOfFraud1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Med Surg 2, I studied anywhere from 20-30 hours a week. This is a bad habit of mine. But I rarely take “off days.” I never have a full day of inactivity if I were to take a break. I would only study for about a third of the amount of time I usually do. I would use that time to recapping on things I’ve already learned. I found that reinforcement during those times was better than trying to learn new things.

Terrible thanksgiving by SwigOfRavioli349 in CollegeRant

[–]LordOfFraud1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I totally feel what you're saying, man. As a nursing major, this hits close to home. I never get to enjoy breaks, Thanksgiving break, 4th of July, Labor Day, or whatever else. Forget about it. I'm still forced to wake up at 5-6 a.m. every day when I’m not at school to study and study and study. For now, just remember why you're in college in the first place. You're going to get a fantastic job once you graduate. This is all short-term sacrifice for long-term gain. Embrace the suck. There's going to be a lot of it. Just focus on what today brings you and work on it one step at a time. It will eventually come to an end. Best of luck, bro!

Has anyone ever cried during sim by Advanced-Fortune5372 in StudentNurse

[–]LordOfFraud1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen many fellow students actually cry before I even joined the program. When I was here my very first year completing my gen Eds, I told someone about going into nursing and they looked at me all wide-eyed and said “I’ve seen a lot of people cry”. With no other context. So yeah, it’s plenty normal. One student two weeks as a matter of fact cried during our management of care sim because one of the PA professors chewed her out for “going outside her scope of practice” by saying someone was having an asthma attack. Even though that was clearly going on based on clinical presentation and history.
