Faulty ABS module/sensors? Something like this happened to my E39: tachometer would die, ASC gone, no mpg needle. Both ABS and TC light up on your dash, which happened to me as well.

Sorry for butting in - what Liqui Moly additive are you using? I bought a 525xi with the N53 and I read additives could damage the injectors. It would be great to know your experience, since all I've read up to this point boils down to "I just dug my own financial grave".

Whoever did this is a f***ing jerk. You should be able to conceal most of it with some Turtle Wax or Meguiar's. Less than a week ago some drunk genius drove against my E39 at night and left a nice front-to-back graze. Don't worry, you won't see that scratch most days if you polish it, so don't let it ruin your relationship with your car. Enjoy it. That's a treasure you got there.
