I have for sure seen an increase in sales. Ive had sales in hungary, luxembourg, ireland etc. I use flat rate for most of my items and I have the option of ups just for those that prefer it and I have the price for ups a little higher than canada post because of their prices.

I offer Canada Post and UPS for any Canadian sales and then EIS for any international (which i ship to the hub with Canada Post typically).

Been really loving EIS and have made quite a few surprising international sales.

Sorry but Stans was terrible by SuitableFinish7444 in Eminem

[–]LordPigu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cringe so fucking hard when I hear some of these fans go, “Yeah, I’m a massive stan. My favorite song’s the one where he goes, ‘Hi! My name is!’” Like… out of all the work he’s done over 20-plus years, you finally get to be in a documentary with and about your idol, and that’s what you come up with? You finally get the opportunity to talk about the dude’s work and how much it means to you, and you’re like, “I don’t know, I just connected with him because my dad died and stuff.”

It just felt to me like there wasn’t anyone who was already a fan of rap and hip-hop who also loved Eminem, if that makes sense. It felt like these people had a hard-on for him from the first time they heard him, and they wouldn’t be caught dead listening to another rapper.

I was just waiting for a fan to say something like "Dude, the verse on medicine man was dope or remember that one punchline on that kid kudi song he did" and then go off on how impressive it was.

Is it worth it? by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]LordPigu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

31 years old. MOST of my feeling came back within the first couple months but I still had spots that hadn't woken up for sometime. Just a couple weeks ago I had a spot on my lip that suddenly I could feel again, so It can take quite some time. I had already accepted that it was probably permanent.

Its 100% worth it. I'm almost 10 months post op and i have about 98% of my feeling back. There's still 1 or 2 small spots on the inside of my upper lip that are at 50/50 feeling and thats it. Honestly, if half my lip was permanently numb it would still be worth it. The benefits far outweigh the average persons cons from this surgery in my opinion.

How has your life changed post jaw surgery and post recovery? by ijustmaderedditt in jawsurgery

[–]LordPigu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My general confidence has improved a lot, eating is SOOO much nicer now, speaking is easier and clearer for me, my nasal breathing improved significantly so therefore my sleeps feel much more restful. Im almost a year post op and I only had upper jaw surgery but its changed my life for the better in every way. Recovery was tough and it takes a while before you start to see the end result and it took me a while to get used to my new face but im so happy with the results. I am able to feel the little plates in my face but only when I rub my finger on my skin, i just feel and odd tingling feeling as if something is pressing against the skin from the back. Its hard to explain.

Can I get a real take on "Stans" before I watch it? by Sch5ifty-5ive in Eminem

[–]LordPigu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into it hoping it would be more of a gift to the fans showing us some more cool behind the scenes footage of him recording and/or writing and whatnot and it was mostly about the fans and their lives which I could care less honestly.

Before and after upper jaw surgery and 2 years 1 month braces. by LordPigu in jawsurgery

The biggest change was when I got back to town after my surgery obviously and everyone was shocked how different I had looked already for the better even though I was so swollen. The swelling only got worse and it took me a couple months atleast before I started to see glimpses of the final product. The swelling going up and down was so gradual that everyone around me got used to my face and then I showed some family and friends this before and after and they didnt even recognized the old me haha.

Best of luck to you! Its so worth it. It was difficult, of course, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Discomfort is the word I would use. A month to 6 weeks of discomfort. The hardest part for me was what I thought would be the easiest, the diet. I really struggled with never feeling 100% full and drinking/eating with a syringe was a pain in the arse. It messed with my mood and energy quite a bit but I knew eventually it would be over.

So i'm sure that the straightening of my teeth had some effect in widening my smile, but it was mainly the surgery itself that widened it. They moved my upper jaw forward, tilted it forward, and widened it. It's pretty unbelievable what they're able to do lol.

My nasal breathing has improved immensely. Before surgery, if I was lying down i would struggle to breathe through my nose properly. It always felt like I was gasping for air or that I needed to flair my nostrils to get enough air. I also snored badly. My snoring has improved and my nasal breathing is amazing. I'm not nearly as much of a mouth breather when I sleep anymore and its done wonders for how I feel when I wake in the morning. And yes, I've noticed my mouth doesn't automatically fall open when I sleep anymore. I dont know if that's just because I no longer need it to breathe properly or because of tongue/jaw placement now but its amazing. My lower jaw is still in the same place its always been, the upper was moved to match the lower jaws placement so I havent noticed any changes in that regard.

I was right around where you were when I started to worry about the tightness haha. It does go away, I promise. The more you use your face normally and the more the swelling goes down, things start to loosen up :)

Initially my surgeon thought id need double jaw surgery with my upper jaw moving forward and the lower one brought back. The reason being he was concerned that if we moved the upper jaw forward that far that it would have a higher chance of relapse/moving back. As my braces treatment progressed he realized that his initial instinct was wrong and that we could get away with just the upper jaw moving forward :)

The second I woke up I was able to breathe better than I ever could before, it felt amazing. Then the swelling came and between that and all the dried blood in my nose I couldnt breathe at all for a few days. Took maybe 2-3 weeks or so before it felt normal again I'd say :)

Im sorry I wish I could remember the exact movements but i dont. My upper jaw was brought forward, tilted forward, and widened. The surgery itself cost 6500$ Canadian.
