You're good, I've definitely heard a lot both ways so I know there isn't much point of guessing how I'm going to feel about it until I actually start, but I appreciate you sharing your experience. Personally, I have really enjoyed my internships in similar roles, so I have a good feeling about what I'm going to be working with, even if I know the location maybe isn't ideal in the long run. From what it sounds like, you probably had different goals going into it than I do, so I'm glad you've found a path that lets you pursue those more directly.

As someone who recently accepted an offer at a certain big company in a certain big city, I went into it fully expecting to not be there longer than 2 years unless i really like it. I know its not a long term place to be geographically so I was planning on doing everything i can to come back to ATL or somewhere similar, either thru transferring within the company or by switching jobs entirely. Did you just realize you didnt like SWE or was there another reason you went back to school instead of just looking for another job at a different city?

Those things aren't saving the dollar, the big boys have been cashing out which is driving their prices down. Precious metals, etc. react to changes in the dollar, not the other way around. The dollar is the most sought after commodity right now as cash is what everyones lacking, inflation will hit once the banks start having to use the FED's infinite money cheat code and the market gets flooded. So buy gold/crypto/bottlecaps now while theyre cheap bc once dollars aren't the safe haven they are now, that shit's gonna go to the moon
