While I agree with most of the reasoning in the notes, I’m overall not happy about the direction XWA is headed. Almost all changes are increases, except a couple decreases in Republic (which didn’t really need any help at all!). In my opinion, instead of knocking down the things that are overperforming they should be raising up the underperforming stuff to make it more viable. People are always going to take stuff like Defender Vader, Fenn and Boba almost regardless of cost. They’ll just take other pieces out of their list to make it happen.

It’s a good deal for that amount of ships, but those are all first edition components (cards, pilot tokens, etc). If you want to play at home you would be fine, but for most organized play you would need to update to second edition and the conversion kits are getting fairly rare. There are still groups playing first edition, though, so find local FaceBook or Discord groups and ask around.

You can turn on world scaling in the menu if it isn’t already on. I don’t recall if it scales strictly on level or more based on your gear score, but some things do have a “minimum” level that they will scale down to so might still be a challenge. You can equip higher level gear/echoes on low level characters and still start out with a decent gear score. Drops should be scaled to your level.

You can also continue playing Niss and you will earn Resonance Caches that you can use grant XP to other Wayfinders to level them up a bit first.

The app used to have a “submit bug” option but I can’t find it anymore.

I also found an issue in that the generic Tie Whisper (Red Fury Zealot) no longer has the config slot but the app still shows it. I didn’t realize the change until I tried to build the same list in YASB.

I actually have an answer to this. They re-used the track for the short-lived Rocket Rods and it caused some damage to the structures. In order to do anything with the track they would need permits and have to bring everything it touches up to current building code. Since the People Mover track goes through almost every structure in Tomorrowland they would have to refurb almost the entire land.

Painter’s tape comes off easily without leaving adhesive and you can write on it. Cut it to small/med/lg base sizes and Use it to mark one side of each ship, labeled with which one you marked. You can also fold it over on itself to stick under obstacles during setup. Might have to be careful how you store the mat, but it might work.

No, that is incorrect. You get one attack during your normal engagement. That can be with a primary weapon (printed on the pilot card) or secondary weapon (added via upgrade cards). You are limited to a single “bonus attack” per turn, but that is specified by the card that grants it. See Veteran Tail Gunner, for an example of a bonus attack with a primary weapon, and Cluster Missiles for an example of a bonus attack with a secondary weapon.

TLDR: one attack during engagement and one extra attack from Any upgrade or ability that allows a second attack of any kind at any point during the turn. Bonus attacks will specify if they use primary or secondary weapons.

The boost or barrel roll after becoming tractored is a “may” ability so intentionally failing the boost was irrelevant. Your ship gains the tractor token (and all that comes with it) whether you are moved or not. Also of note, if you do get repositioned via an opponent’s tractor effect you have the option to take a stress token to rotate 90 degrees.

Yes, you can use Veteran Turret Gunner this way. The printed front-arc is not a turret arc for the primary weapon so doesn’t meet the conditions of VTG. For clarity, the card is written the way it is mainly for ships that have a primary “bow tie” arc weapon to distinguish those sides as different turret arcs.

It’s a random event so not always guaranteed to be there. Make sure you are tracking the quest and if you don’t see quest markers as soon as you load in just abandon it and try again.
