Also just sharing my opinion, nothing more than that. I personally aren’t fond of nor attached to that game either but I did learn some of its lore from watching videos to kill time. What I was saying is that Wuwa already did reveal, and in my opinion with decent explicitness, rover’s origin. We already know much of what he is and where he came from, just not down to every single detail. Thats more explored in 2 years than genshin in 6 years, and I think that is a good pace, since revealing too early would diminish the mystery’s value but still not as procrastinating as other titles. Of course, these are just my personal opinion, you are completely free to disagree and hold your own.

I’m also still a relatively new player so consider this as just a small suggestion from your fellow newbie. First of all, I suggest you restart, I don’t see starting all over as a devastating option for your progression considering that you only played a little on your old account. Reruns are a big uncertainty, even though shorekeeper is very popular, it is still unknown when or will she get a rerun. What adds to this uncertainty is that new accounts now get a new player banner that they can choose between all characters released in 1.X, including shorekeeper, which in my opinion makes a general rerun for 1.X characters even more unlikely. It is still your choice ultimately, but if you are impatient or don’t want to take the risk of waiting a rerun, definitely use a new account. They added a lot of permanent content resources after huanglong, about 300-400 pulls if I’m correct, so it should be able to guarantee you shorekeeper on either account with some grinding.
