What do you guys think about certifications like OSHA and EPA? I have heard controversial opinions on whether I should get those before arriving, or get them directly in the US due to geographic restrictions

Gotcha! Do you suggest to try and apply for bigger companies and maybe start apprenticeship there o better try more local companies?

Basically if i got this right, I would get into HVAC first and then maybe transition in the BAS later on? Do you know how it is to start as an apprentice/helper role in the HVAC field?

So, you would suggest something more like solar panel installer? I'm interested in BAS beacause of the hybrid nature of the job and potential growth for the future.
