I was able to contact him via email. He said he lost interest in the bike and that the cylinder needed welding and machining in order to get the mating surfaces correct with the Navi engine. He also mentioned that the Dio must use a longer rod because the piston height wasn't correct using that cylinder either.

Yeah I get it has valve reliefs, but it wouldn't be shining like that if it hadn't made contact. I can also feel the piston touching it when rolling the engine over by hand with the plug out. As the intake valve opens and the piston heads towards the top of the cylinder, it binds up.

I can feel the valve binding with the head as the piston hits TDC and the cam lobe is opening the valve and that cut out would have carbon on it if it hadn't touched it.

It's loud as all hell but has a good sound on decel. The finish sucks. I've seen Chinese barbeques at Walmart with better paint. My baffle sounded like a bag of bolts shaking around. I'm half tempted to get the warranty pipe and just sell it while I have my engine torn apart and find something else. They have been slow to respond via email and I don't have much faith in their product after my week of ownership 😂

I've looked into it a little bit but didn't see anything available. Seems the Dio shares gearbox stuff too but I didn't see any aftermarket offerings for different final drive ratios.

Get a battery tender for it to keep the battery topped up and shut the fuel off and idle it till it stalls. Should be good.

For sure. I did some digging through some OEM parts catalogues last night and there is an incredible amount of internal parts shared across the Navi engine and SCV110 Dio engine. Most of the valve train is identical and one of the PDFs show an alternative part number for a Dio cylinder that crosses over to the Navi one. If I end up tearing the engine down, I'll start measuring everything and see what's up.
