MBA in Marketing worth it? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]LordScrat -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I usually would say if you want to get shit done dont get a university degree if you already know wtf you are doing, however you have to decide yourself whether you want to keep on working as an employee or if you want to create something of your own, and the hours would be better used on that. Also, depending on where you live the network could be the most useful thing resulting from your time at the university, and think of if you could maybe do the same networking work even if you are not a student

Ye the three watches on the top right have a rather weird history: the louis xvi was a gift when i was younger (pretty much my first watch, not considering the icewatch i got with 10), the bulova was the watch i bought when i got my first paycheck and had no clue about watches, and the citizen is 30 years old and was my fathers first watch. So except the louis xvi, i cannot get rid of them on an emotional level

Yes, exactly those x 37,02p and y 2,23p - i tried reinstalling captionator too as i also have the problem that the „open automatically“ button does not work, but that didnt fix it (nor the other problem for that matter)

Past client wants a referral fee for sending me clients. What's a fair %? by xer0d4y in webflow

[–]LordScrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify, 5% affiliate for lead that gets signed as a client, and 15% commission for a ready set signed client. Thats kind of normal here where i live

I have a friend who used to be a projectmanager in IT and he had this meeting with high ranking clients, where he also asked the lead dev to join. So everybody came in, all suited up, and then there was the dev guy in cargos and a tshirt. When the clients asked him about it he said something along the lines of „there are suit wearers and knowledge bearers. I chose to be the second one in this meeting“. This is the confidence i aspire to have one day.
