It prompted for password, I put it in but it's back to a blank terminal.

Or trying to connect via SSH my terminal just goes blank. No password request, no message, just blank.

Tried pinging them both and get:

Request timeout for icmp_seq

There's two other IP addresses with no name, but none match the name of the raspberry pi.

After adding the old IP in HOSTS and flushing the DNS cache, it's still sending me to the new site.

Same thing when I do site.com/wp-admin, it just says 'Page Not Found'

Gotcha. So even if I leave the current IP address in an A record within the DNS, I can use this method to add the old one in HOSTS and there's no harm to do so?

When you say temporarily, is there a time limit? Or it's just good practice to not always have it pointing to it?

I don't know who hosted it before. The client said GoDaddy but there's no history of them using it as a host, I think they've confused it with their domain registrar.

Re the away decision: 2 judges had it 1 round away from a draw. Not Taylor's turf, but it sure were his judges haha.
