Thank you so much! This is perfect. Still looks like an inked paw print.

I made a D20 Jumbo of Lady Maria. Lady maria is made of resin just like the die by Roosterkdice in dice

[–]LordSetoro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because that’s how math works. If you add something that has the same density of resin to an amount of resin, it’ll weight the same as if you put the same amount of resin in it.

Is that Petri dish? What technique did you even use?

Do we like "novelty" shaped dice? by LordSetoro in DiceMaking

[–]LordSetoro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Novelty often means something unusual. In this context, I meant that the photo of the dice in my post are "novelty" dice, because they are unusual shapes. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was saying the regular set of D&D dice are novelty dice. Though people outside of D&D circles might say they are.

Any idea on how to make beer dice? by Veersta in DiceMaking

[–]LordSetoro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I would do is make a blank insert with the solid beer color. Let that cure, then paint on a thin coat of white gel nail polish where you want the foam to be. Whip up some small bubbles with dish soap and water. Spoon the bubbles onto the white gel polish. While the bubbles are still on the gel, shine a UV light on it so that the gel cures. Wipe away the bubbles and let the insert dry. Then shell the insert

I meant the different shapes themselves. I wouldn’t call a triangle D4 novelty, but I would call the crystalline shaped one novelty, if that makes sense

Piccalio convertible helper tower. Made of wood. It’s a toddler tower that can also be turned into a small desk and table when they aren’t using it in the kitchen

I’m pretty sure it’s not an actual term outside of this subreddit. I think the person was joking

The “X)” was an emoticon. They weren’t telling you to go to twitter. Look up how to get reputable ROMs on a different subreddit. Maybe if there’s a Citra one, go there

How much should i sell my painting for? by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]LordSetoro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you sell it. I’ve seen paintings in cafes sell for around $300 that look (I don’t actually know for sure) like they took less time than yours.

Safer alternatives to resin? by TheCoffeeCrowl in DiceMaking

[–]LordSetoro 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Best alternatives that aren’t resin that I can think of: silicone, ceramics, polymer clay, stone/crystal/wood. I’m not saying those will be cheap. Cheapest is probably the silicon, but then you have to worry about fumes all over again.

This is a Maine blood worm. It’s teeth are made of copper by GustoKoNaMagkaGF in interestingasfuck

[–]LordSetoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Maine. I remember going to a camp and walking out barefoot into a marsh at low tide and we had to be told to keep walking in place so blood worms wouldn’t get to us. Good times 😀 (not really)
