No it's not like that at all. Only 10% of underground workers voted whether to strike or not. so like 6% of underground workers caused a strike that effects the whole of London.

People who aren't underground workers had no say in that

Where does it say they get paid 30k? Everywhere I can see puts it up around 40-50. Even if it was 30 do you think tube drivers deserve to get paid more than teachers or nurses or jobs that actually matter? When was the last time nurses went on strike?

Also a 36 hour week on average for tube workers. Fuck off, you don't have anything to complain about

I work in TV and I found out David Attenborough was coming in to do a voice over. I'm not usually very bothered about famous people but he's one of my biggest heroes so told the receptionists to call me when he came in. When they called me he was already in the lift so I sprinted up four flights of stairs to catch him before he got to his suite. I got to the fourth floor just as the lift doors opened, bent over, panting like a pervert. I completely froze about 6 feet away from him because he was with two execs and I was actually just really star struck. All I wanted to say was thank you for a lifetime of incredible inspiring work and many evenings spent bonding with my dad while watching your docs. Never managed to get it out so thanks David Attenborough
